I7 <br /> <br />2836 <br />Representative and Warkentien moved, seconded by Ecklund that the following <br />Alternate resolution be adopted. Upon a vote being taken, the resolution <br />Representative - was adopted unani~~nously. <br />Ramsey County <br />League of T~~I-iEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights is a member in <br />Municipalities: good standing of the "Ramsey County League of I~lunicipalities, and <br />j~JfiEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights desires to continue <br />its participation in the Ramsey County League of Municipalities, <br />NOL~J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Falcon <br />Ilcights hereby designates as its representative to the Ramsey <br />County League of T~lunicipalities for the period of January 1, 1969 <br />to December 31, 1969 - TrJilliam H. Black. <br />BE IT FURTH~~ P~ESOLVED, that the Village of Falcon <br />Iieights hereby designates Charles P. Stone as its alternate <br />representative to the Ramsey County League of Municipalities. <br />Falcon Heights Mr. Janssen thanked the Council for its account and asked its <br />State Bank - help in locating a new site for the Falcon Heights State Bank. <br />I~1r. G. Janssen: He would like to remain within the Village and obtain approximately <br />one acre of land. <br />The Council suggested property at the intersection of Larpenteur <br />and Fairview Avenues owned by A. Jurgenson and Julian Lee. Also, <br />property owned by the Herrees' at the Floral Shop was suggested. <br />Mr. Janssen thanked the Council and stated that he would look <br />into these pieces of property. <br />Planning Warkentien, with council consent, asked that Leslie Larson <br />Commission: and A. J. Schwantes be re-appointed to the Planning Commission. <br />Stone moved, seconded by Blank that the Mayor's appointments be <br />confirmed. Upon a vote, the appointments were confirmed. <br />Use of Village Warkentien moved that the DFL be allowed to use the Village Hall <br />Hall of Citizens: for the seond Monday in January and February but that the Council <br />does not know at the present time if they will be able to continue <br />this arrangement as there is no longer a full-time janitorial service. <br />Also, he stated that the kitchen facilities probably no longer can <br />be granted. Stone seconded the motion. Ayes: All. Nays: None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Stone moved, seconded by titi'arkentien that the ~-H be allowed to use <br />the Hall, March 3, 1969 but the kitchen facilities will not be <br />made available. Motion was carried. <br />1 <br />Also, the 1~-H and DFL will have to arrange the time~~of their <br />meetings to start after 7:30 P.M. so as not to interfere with <br />Justice of the Peace Court held at 7:00 P.M. TZonday nights. <br />Roselawn-Tatum- Engineer advised that Roseville is going to advertise for bids <br />Prior Storm Sewer on a storm sewer project in the vicinity of Roselawn and Tatum. <br />Project: They have not come up with a fair apportionment covering <br />Falcon Heists on Autumn and Prior and the first row of houses on <br />Roselawn up to and including the traQ corners of Tatum. The present <br />apportionment for Falcon Heights is ~Zt5,000fbr approximately ~5 lots <br />o~ X1,000 per lot and this does not even bring it into Falcon Heights. <br />
