A Public Hearing will be held at the Village of Falcon <br />Heights, Minnesota at the Village Hall on Thursday, the sixth <br />of March 1969 at 8:00 P.M. to consider said improvement. <br />2. The nature of the ~:rnprovement, the estimated cost thereof, <br />and the area proposed to be assessed therefor shall be described <br />in the notice of hearing. <br />3• Said improvement is hereby designated Storm Sewer <br />Improvement of 196q-1. <br />4. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />cause notice of said hearing to be given two publications in the <br />official Village Newspaper, the Sun Newspaper. Said publications <br />shall be one week apart and at least three days shall elapse <br />bettireen the last publication and the date of Y~aring, and the <br />Clerk shall give mailed notice ofhea.ring to the owners of each <br />parcel of land proposed to be assessed at least ten days before <br />the hearing. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be <br />sent to the Village Manager of the Village of Roseville. <br />Taylor seconded the resolution. Upon a vote being taken, the <br />resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />Lindig Paoperty: Inquiry dated January 20, 1969 was received from the Fi.amsey <br />County hielfare Department concerning the Lindig property. <br />They wanted to know how the Village f eft this property could <br />be used. Black moved that the Council refer the letter to <br />the Village Attorney who will give the Welfare Department an <br />oral reply. Stone seconded the motion. Upon a vote, the <br />motion was passed unanimously. <br />Application for a Michael NTeKee, on behalf of Malone Graphic Center at 154,5 W. <br />Sign at 1545 W. Larpenteur, applied for a buildir~ permit to construct a 23 4 <br />Larpenteur: foot long by ~ foot high (total square footage of 80.5) sign. <br />The width of the building is 27 square feet;,seemingly, this <br />sign meets the requirements of Ordinance 64. Black moved, <br />seconded by Stone that a building permit be issued and the <br />Building Inspector be notified that the application has been <br />approved by the Council. Motion carried. <br />Claim Form Stamp: Taylor moved, seconded by Warkentien that the Village purchase <br />a stamp with the following printed thereon: <br />The undersigned payee, in endorsing this order-check, <br />declares that the same is received in paym=_nt of a <br />just and correct c~:aim against the Village of Faccon <br />Heights and that no part of such claim has heretofore <br />been paid. <br />This stamp will make payment of bills more expeditious. <br />Motion was carried. <br />St. Paul Assoc. Letter of January 16, 1969 received from the St. Paul Associatn:on <br />for Retarded for Retarded Children, Inc. asking for $150.00 for the 1969 <br />Children, Inc.: program. Stone moved, seconded by Taylor that the request be <br />denied because of lack of participation by the community. <br />l~Zotion was carried. <br />
