28l~3 1. A Public Hearing will be held at the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota at the Village Hall on Thursday, the sixth of March 1969 at 8:00 P.M. to consider said improvement. 2. The nature of the ~:rnprovement, the estimated cost thereof, and the area proposed to be assessed therefor shall be described in the notice of hearing. 3• Said improvement is hereby designated Storm Sewer Improvement of 196q-1. 4. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said hearing to be given two publications in the official Village Newspaper, the Sun Newspaper. Said publications shall be one week apart and at least three days shall elapse bettireen the last publication and the date of Y~aring, and the Clerk shall give mailed notice ofhea.ring to the owners of each parcel of land proposed to be assessed at least ten days before the hearing. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be sent to the Village Manager of the Village of Roseville. Taylor seconded the resolution. Upon a vote being taken, the resolution was unanimously adopted. Lindig Paoperty: Inquiry dated January 20, 1969 was received from the Fi.amsey County hielfare Department concerning the Lindig property. They wanted to know how the Village f eft this property could be used. Black moved that the Council refer the letter to the Village Attorney who will give the Welfare Department an oral reply. Stone seconded the motion. Upon a vote, the motion was passed unanimously. Application for a Michael NTeKee, on behalf of Malone Graphic Center at 154,5 W. Sign at 1545 W. Larpenteur, applied for a buildir~ permit to construct a 23 4 Larpenteur: foot long by ~ foot high (total square footage of 80.5) sign. The width of the building is 27 square feet;,seemingly, this sign meets the requirements of Ordinance 64. Black moved, seconded by Stone that a building permit be issued and the Building Inspector be notified that the application has been approved by the Council. Motion carried. Claim Form Stamp: Taylor moved, seconded by Warkentien that the Village purchase a stamp with the following printed thereon: The undersigned payee, in endorsing this order-check, declares that the same is received in paym=_nt of a just and correct c~:aim against the Village of Faccon Heights and that no part of such claim has heretofore been paid. This stamp will make payment of bills more expeditious. Motion was carried. St. Paul Assoc. Letter of January 16, 1969 received from the St. Paul Associatn:on for Retarded for Retarded Children, Inc. asking for $150.00 for the 1969 Children, Inc.: program. Stone moved, seconded by Taylor that the request be denied because of lack of participation by the community. l~Zotion was carried.
