2870
Lindig Property: The County Welfare Department feels that it has an obligation
to go ahead with the sale of the Lindig Property to the residents
for $8,000. Attorney was in contact with the Ramsey County
Attorney. He advised the Board last week of the Village's
interest and a spokesman for the property owners said that if the
Village can condemn the property as it sees fit, they would
hold off until the end of plarch and not finalize the agreement
if Falcon Heights decided to purchase the property. There is
no indication that they would go below the $8,000. Black will
bring the Recreation Committee up-to-date on this Friday evening.
Fire Reports: Ecklund read Fire Reports 772 and 773.
Employment of Mr. Slama was advised that his part-time employment would be
Bert Slama: taken up at the March 26, 1969 meeting.
