2880 <br />Plumbing Per- Taylor moved, seconded by Warkentien, that the application <br />mit - Roy W. for plumbing permit received from Roy W. Martin Plumbing, <br />Martin Inc. be approved. It has been approved by Attorney Seed. <br /> Motion carried. <br />Gas Installers Taylor moved, seconded by Warkentien, that an application <br />License - Sub_ for Master Gas Installers license for Ernest Johnson, Sub- <br />urban Heating Co, urban Heating Co., be approved. It has been approved by <br /> Attorney Seed. Motion carried, <br />Ken Quarn - Taylor read a request from Ken Quarn that the lawn-mower <br />Defective Lawn- used by him be repaired or replaced. It was suggested that <br />mower it be inspected and repaired if possible. IIzgineer Lemberg <br /> will investigate. <br />Reimbursement to A statement from Lillian Duethman, secretary of Falcon <br />Lillian Duethman Heights Recreation Committee, was read requesting reimburse- <br /> ment in the amount of $17.49 for stationery and postage. <br /> Warkentien moved that she be reimbursed. Seconded by <br /> Black. Motion carried. <br />North South Mayor Warkentien asked that it be reflected in the minutes <br />Roadway Meeting that he and ~gineer Lemberg attended the North South Road- <br />way meeting at the University April 8th. <br />Ordinance No. 89 Attorney Seed proposed the following Ordinance No. 89 be <br />adopted: <br />~~An ordinance authorizing the regulation of parking on pri- <br />vate property affected with the public interest. <br />The Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights does <br />ordain as follows: Section 1: It is hereby determined that <br />the regulation of parking on certain private driving areas <br />affected with the public interest is necessary and desirable <br />in order to assure adequate ingress and egress for fire <br />trucks and other emergency vehicles to operate adequately <br />in such areas. Such regulations are needed to provide for <br />the government and good order of the Village, the prevention <br />of crime, the protection of private property, the benefit <br />of residents, trade, and commerce, and the promotion of <br />health, safety, order, convenience and the general welfare. <br />Section 2: No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle at <br />any place on any private driving area within the Village of <br />Falcon Heights where official signs prohibit such parking. <br />Said official signs shall be installed after passage of a <br />resolution by the Village Council stating the specific area <br />on which parking is to be prohibited, and the terms of said <br />parking prohibition, and finding that said parking prohib_ <br />ition is necessary and desirable in order to protect private <br />property and promote the health, safety, order, convenience <br />and general welfare and that the area regulated is affected <br />with the public interest. Section 3: Any person violating <br />any provisions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a mis- <br />demeanor and shall be punished by a fine not to exceed <br />$100,00 or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period <br />
