2917 <br />MEETING OF OCTOBER 9s 1969 <br />The regular meeting of October 9, 1969 was called to order at 7s03 P.M. with the <br />following members presents Mayor Warkentien, Clerk Taylor, Councilm~ Stone, and <br />Black. Also present were Attomney Seed, Treasurer Olsen and Engineer Le:aberg. <br />Minutes: Stone moved that the minutes of the September 25, 1969 <br />meeting be approved. Seconded by Warkentien and motion <br />carried. <br />Mr. Merle Moen, Black introduced Mr. Merle Moen, 1906 Tatum Avenue an <br />Applicant for applicant to fill the position of Justice of the Peace, <br />Justice of the left open by Mr. D. Michael. Noonan's leaving to fi].7. <br />Peace: position iac: Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Mr. Moea~ is employ- <br />ed by Blue Cross as Director of Claims. Attorne~r Seed <br />showed him the Village fine schedule and discussed vari- <br />ou~r duties of the Justice of the Peace. <br />Robert R. Pfefferle, Mr. Pfefferle was at the meeting to discuss further a <br />American Pipe proposal for a survey of the Village serer system at a <br />Cleaning Compa~pra cost of X6,755.00. Matter was tabled. <br />Falcon Heights Mr. George Janssen attended the meeting to show model of <br />State Bank Movings nehr proposed bank buildiAg, to be located two blocks north <br /> of Larperiteur on Lexington Avenu®. Ccaapletion date should <br /> be in October or Novesaber of 1970. <br />Fire Reports: B1.ack read fire reports Noe. 80t~, 805, 806, 807. <br />Human Rights Commis- Stone moved that we accept with regret the resignatioII of <br />sign Resignation of Mr. James Walker, from the Human Rights Commission, due <br />Mr. James Walkers to has mooing out of the Village. Black seconded and <br /> motion carried. <br />Appointment of Warkeartien appointed Mr. William H. Broom to fill Mr. <br />William H. Brown Walker's terra. Stone moved that the Council confirsa the <br />to Fill Vacancys appointment.
