These pans are <br />dependent upon locating a sv~table site for construction. <br />Variance Request - Mr. Arthur Jorgenson, Arden Hills Investment Company, ap- <br />Conditional Use - peared at the meeting to submit applications for variance <br />1830 W. Larpenteur: and conditional use to construct an 18 unit apaxt~ment <br /> building at 1830 West Larpenteur Avenue. <br /> Black moved that the applications for conditional use and <br /> variance in connection with the construction plans be re- <br /> ferred for recommendation to the planning commission. Also <br /> it was moved that the Village Engineer review the plans and <br /> provide a written resort for use of the planning commlf.ssion <br /> and the Council. Taylor seconded and the motion carried. <br />Tractor -Mower: Ecklund moved that the Council purchase an ~~International <br /> Cub Cadet~~ 1!t h.p. tractor with mower, sweeper and trailer <br /> for use by the maintenance department, from International <br /> Harvester Company, for the quoted price of $1,82.00. <br /> Stone seconded and the motion carried. <br />Falcon Heights Fire Chief~Helbig notified the Council that the following <br />Election of men were elected on May 5, 1970 to serve one year terms: <br />FireJnen <br />Chief <br />Assistant Chief <br />Assistant Chief <br />Captain <br />Captain <br />Lieutenant <br />Lieutenant <br />Drill Captain <br />Drill Captain <br />Albert Helbig <br />Henry Dachtera <br />Robert Luey <br />Gerald Baden <br />Stanley Schultz <br />Ronald Peterson <br />Leo Lindig <br />Robert Luey <br />Stan Schultz <br />Sheriffs Report: Ecklund read the Sheriffs Report for April. <br />Fire Reports: Ecklund read Fire Reports Nos. 10, 11, 12, 13. <br />Tennis Courts: Warkentien and Black attended a recent meet3.ng with several <br />school board members and Lloyd Nielsen, Superintendent, to <br />discuss a proposed contract for construction of tennis <br />courts on the Falcon Heights Elementary School grounds. It <br />was decided that the items we discussed would be green fur- <br />ther consideration at the next meeting of the school board. <br />Gary Wicks Black moved that the amouxrt of $15 be authorized for Gary <br />Expenses: Wicks, 1969 recreation director, to cover expenses in at- <br />tending arecreation meeting on May 7, 1970. Ecklund se- <br />conded the motion.
