2993 <br />2. The Construction Account in the Storm Sewer Im- <br />provement Bonds of 1966 Fund of the Village reflects a <br />surplus of $l~,722.55 for completed Storm Sewer Improvements <br />the costs of which have been fully paid. <br />3. The Village Council is entitled to transfer suf- <br />ficient funds from the Storm Sewer Construction Account to <br />pay off the deficit in the 1967 Improvement Bond Construc- <br />tion Account. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council <br />that the Village Treasurer be authorized and directed to <br />make the following bookkeeping entries and transfers: <br />1. The transfer of the sum of $1,950.30 from the 1966 <br />Storm Sewer Improvement Construction Account to the Con- <br />struction Account of the 1967 Improvement Bond rand, which <br />account shall thereupon be closed out. <br />Taylor seconded the motion, and upon a vote being taken <br />the motion passed unanimously, whereupon said resolution <br />was declared adopted. <br />Falcon Heights Taylor read a letter from Ernest Romero, Research Assistant, <br />Legislative Ramsey County League of Municipalities, concerning a Falcon <br />Representative: Heights Legislative Representative. Ecklund will check on <br /> the times of meetings and advise the Council of his decision. <br />9:00 P.M. Siren Mr. Jerome Erickson, 1687 Fry Street, appeared at the meet- <br />Complaint: ing to complain of the disturbance of the siren at 9:00 P.M. <br /> each evening. He said it continually woke the small baby <br /> in the family. The Council requested that he start a peti- <br /> tion if he felt so strongly about this. The Village will <br /> contemplate blowing the siren at 6:00 P.M. instead of the <br /> usual 9:00 P.M. <br />Voting Booths Warkentien moved that the Village Clerk be authorized to <br />Purchase: buy two 3-stall voting booths according to the budgeted <br /> amount of $175.00. Ecklund seconded and themotion carried. <br />Gasoline Filling Taylor moved that a gasoline filling station license be <br />Station License approved. for the Strandquist Texaco Station, 1565 North <br />Renewals: Hamline Avenue, for the period commencing July 1, 19?0 and <br /> ending June 30, 1971. Stone seconded and the motion carried. <br />Cigarette License Taylor moved that the following cigarette licenses be ap- <br />Renewals: proved for the period commencing July 1, 1970 and ending <br /> June 30, 1971: <br /> Pizza Hut, 1650 North Snelling Avenue; -Lido Cafe Corpora- <br /> tion, 1611 West Larpenteur Avenue; -Tom Thumb Superette, <br /> 1705 North Snelling Avenue; -Bonanza Sirloin Pit, #51x.1 <br />Double ~~B~~ Inc., State Fair Grounds; - Borgstrom Drugs, <br /> 1583 North Hamline Avenue; -Falcon Lanes, Inc., 1550 West <br /> Larpenteur Avenue; -Mrs. Agnes Junkin,E. 0. Box 1054, <br /> Minnetonka, Minnesota. Warkentien seconded and the motion <br /> carried. <br />
