3010 <br />MEETING OF ~PTEI~ZBER 21~, 1970 <br />The. regular meeting of September 21~, 1970 was called to order at 7:05 P.NT. with <br />the following members present: Playor T~~rarkentien, Clerk Taylor, Councilmen Black and <br />Ecklund. Also present were Treasurer Olsen and Engineer Lemberg.. Attorney Seed <br />arrived at 7:30 P.I~i. Absent was Councilman Stone. <br />riinutes: Warkentien moved that the minutes of the September 10, 1970 <br />meeting be approved as corrected. Black seconded and the <br />motion carried. <br />Double Arrow NTr. and Mrs. Robert Brown, 1592 Maple Knoll Drive, appeared at <br />Sign Complaint the meeting to voice their complaint of the recently installed <br />T~ta.ple Knoll Drive double arrow sign on Maple Knoll Drive and Garden Avenue. They <br />~ Garden Avenue: would like to have the sign removed. B1 ack moved that the sign <br />be removed. Warkentien seconded. Ayes: Black, ~Jarkentien. <br />Nays: Taylor, Ecklund. Taylor moved that <br /> the bills be referred to Engineer Lemberg for recommendation. <br /> Warkentien seconded and the motion carried. <br /> League of N;innesota Taylor moved that the sub scription to the League of Minnesota <br /> Municipalities Municipalities be renewed for the year beginning September 1, <br /> Subscription Renewal; 1970 through August 31, 1971, in the amount of $511.00. lniar- <br /> kentien seconded and the motion carried. <br /> Letter From the Taylor read a letter from the rietro Section of the League of <br /> Pietro Section of the Nti.nnesota T~lunicipalities regarding future meetings scheduled <br /> Minnesota League of by the League. <br /> Municipalities: <br />Ballot Boxes TrJarkentien moved that the Village Clerk be authorized to <br />Purchase: purchase 8 Election Ballot Boxes at X15.00 each. Black seconded <br />and the motion carried. <br />Frontage Road Taylor moved that the Village adopt the following resolution: <br />Maintenance Agreement tiJarkentien seconded and the motion carried.
