Council vrrill consider the improvement of said <br />street in accordance frith the report and the assess- <br />ment of abutting property, and benefited non-•a'bratting <br />property, for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement pursuant to Adinnesota Statutes Section <br />~29.!C~1.7. to 1.129.111 Laars of 1963 as aaasnded, at an <br />estimated total cost of the improvement of X8,750.00. <br />2. A public hearing sha11 be held on such proposed <br />improvement on the 26th day of June, 1963 in the <br />Council Chambers in the Village Hall at 16li2i. The Deputy Clerk was instructed to notify <br />the Building Inspector to check for compliance. <br />Application for The council was advised by Staxil.ery Schultz of the Fire <br />Volunteer Firemans Department that Dayton LeRoy Wilkens of 966 Charles <br />Street, St. Paul ~rorke. in Lauderdale and is available <br />for duty during the day, also that he plans to move <br />to Lauderdale. Motion made by Stone, seconded by <br />Shavor to approve the appointaaent of Air. Wilkens for <br />the necessary probationary period as a voluntary <br />fireman. All ayes. <br />Civil Defenses Stanley Schulte, the director of Civil Defense for <br />Falcon Heights, eras present and advised that the <br />stor3.ng of the truck recently purch~s~ is a probl~n. <br />His thoughts are that the truck is of no real value. <br />Motion xas made by Shavor, seconded by Stone that <br />the Civil Defense panel truck be sold for a mtninaun <br />of X200 to the Civil Defense Department of Ramsey <br />County. All ayes. <br />
