1970 <br />California Curb and Attorney Galvin has received. two petitions regarding <br />Gutter: California Avenue and. placing of curb and gutter. <br />One petition has not been received as yet, and this <br />for the block from Arona to Snelling. Engineer Lemberg <br />recommended this be held off until next spring inasmuch <br />as it would be October before any work could begin and <br />the tiveather may not be favorable. <br />Lindigts Proposed Plat. Motion made by Stone, seconded by Shavor that Lindigts <br />Proposed Plat submitted to the Council be studied by <br />the Village En gineer and the Planning Commission and <br />that report be submitted to the Council in writing at <br />its special meeting August 19. Motion was carried. <br />This action was taken in order that matter may be <br />expedited in connection with proposed construction. <br />Attorney Galvin s <br />Council was advised it could proceed without a public <br />Lindig: hearing inasmuch as Lindig otivns all the property involved. <br />Nilsen moved., seconded by V~arkentien that the following <br />Resolution be adopted by the Council. T~dotion carried. <br />RESOLUTION DECLARITLTG ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON OPENING AND <br />CONSTRUCTIO = OF LI?~rDIG AVENUE A5 PLATTED <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Falcon Heights, <br />Minnesota: <br />1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of <br />Lindig Avenue, as platted between the North line of Larg- <br />enteux Avernze and a point of 1,325.00 feet North of said <br />line by opening Lindig Avenue as presently platted to <br />provide for a driving surface 30 feet wide and improve <br />the same by construction of blacktop pavement and con- <br />struction of concrete gutters and curbs, said construction <br />to include proper drainage of Lindig Avenue, was filed <br />with the Council on the 1l~th day of August 1963, is hereby <br />declared to be signed by all of the owners of property <br />affected. thereby. This declaration is made in conformity <br />to the Minnesota Statutes, x.29.035. <br />2. Petition is hereby referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, <br />and. Associates, the Village consulting engineers, and <br />they are instructed to report to the Council with all con- <br />venient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way <br />as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as <br />to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the <br />improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Council this lhth day of August 1963. <br />Harold C.
