1993 <br />North Snelling Avenue <br />Water Connection: <br />Attorney Galvin: <br />Stone moved, seconded by Shavor that the following Resolution <br />be adopted. Motion carried. <br />WHr~EAS, the petition was accepted by the Village <br />Council on September 11 , 1963 for the proposed improvement <br />of North Snelling Avenue on the w est side between the south <br />line of Roselawn Avenue and a point 1,28l~.85 feet south <br />of said line by the installation of a 6~i water main and lot <br />services, and <br />VdHEREAS, the Engineer has reported to the Council that <br />such improvement is feasible and is best accomplished by <br />incorporating it into the Water Main and Sewer Improvement <br />of 1963, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />Village of Falcon Heights: <br />1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed <br />in the Council Resolution adopted September 11, 1963. <br />2. Bonestroo, Rosene, and Associates are hereby <br />designated as engineers for this improvement. They shall <br />prepare plans and specifications for the making of such <br />improvement. <br />This ~~+esoluti.on was adopted by the Village Council this <br />llth day of September 1963. <br />Due to legislative changes, Warkentien moved, Stone seconded <br />Ordinance No. 68s that Ordinance No. 68 entitled 'An Ordinance regulating the <br />use of Highways within the Village of Falcon Heights Incor- <br />porating provisions of the Minnesota Highway Traffic Regula- <br />tion Act and the Minnesota Driver's License Act by reference, <br />Imposing Penalties for the Violation thereof and repealing <br />Ordinance No. 66; be adopted by the Village Council. Motion <br />carried. <br />Lindig Avenue Because of the dedication of L~:ndig Avenue to the Village of <br />Dedicated to the Falcon Heights, the Council must review the existing assess- <br />V311age: menu on Lindig Avenue to determine the method of apportioning <br />same. Action on this is laid over until a future date. <br />Justice of the Peace: The Council was advised that bond and oath of new Justice <br />of the Peace, Dwain L. Jones, will be filed with the Clerk <br />of District Court. <br />Engineer Lemberg: <br />J. M. McGregor of 1795 No. Fairview was present to state <br />Land Surveys: that a neighbor had made a survey and moved stakes on his <br />property so that McGregor~s property was now two feet less. <br />Lemberg advised that no private citizen has the right to do <br />this, only the County Surveyor has such a right. <br />Redistribution of McGregor requested redistribution of water hydrants inasmuch <br />Hydrants Requesteds as he has a man-hole on one side of his driveway and a <br />hydrant on the other side, and is of the opinion that this <br />lessens the value of property.
