1992 <br />Tree Program: Dr. Hard was present at the request of the Council and <br />he advised that he has contacted tree service companies <br />and suggested that Lakeland Tree Service be contracted to <br />carry on the tree program for the ensuing year. Dr. Hard <br />stated it would be most advisable to establish and carry <br />out afoot-year tree program for the entire Village. It <br />was suggested that some estimate as to cost for this <br />program be furnished the council at the next re,~g~-ar <br />meeting. Dr. Hard suggested that the area i~~~~`'~ of <br />Snelling Avenue be completed this year -Asbury Avenue <br />would be the starting point. <br />North Snelling Avenue Petitions have been received. Preliminary plans are as <br />Water Connection to follouPSs <br />Roseville system: (1) The Village of Falcon Heights would construct <br />the system. <br />(2) Such water line would be connected to the <br />Roseville water system. <br />(3) The Vi.1-lage of Falcon Heights would maintain <br />the water lines. <br />Water will be purchased by individual homes and bills will <br />be submitted to them by Roseville. They will pay the same <br />rate as Roseville citizens. <br />Stone moved, seconded by Shavor that the following Resolution <br />be adopted. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF REPORT ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE WEST SIDE <br />OF NORTH SNELLING AVENUE BY THE IlUSTALLATION OF A 5IX MUCH <br />WATER MAIN AND LOT SERVICES FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF ROSELAWN <br />AVENUE TO A POINT 1,28..85 FEET SOUTH OF SAID LINE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Village Council of Falcon Heights, <br />Minnesota: <br />1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of <br />the west side of North Snelling Avenue between the south <br />line of Roselaaem Avenue and a point 1,28l~.85 feet south of <br />said line by the installation of a 6 inch watermain and lot <br />services, was filed with the Council on the 11th day of <br />September 19b3, is hereby declared to be signed by all of the <br />owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is <br />made in conformity to the Minnesota Statutes l~29.035. <br />2. Petition is hereby referred to Bonestroo, ftosene, <br />and Associates, the Village Consulting Engineers, and they <br />are instructed to report to the Council with all convenient <br />speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to <br />whether the proposed improvement is feasible, and the <br />estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. If said <br />improvement is feasible, it should be made a part of the <br />Water and Sewer Improvement of 1943, <br />The above Resolution was adopted by the Council this 11th <br />Day of September 1963. <br />
