2oit~ moved its adoption: RESOLUTION CANOELING SANITARY SE~1ER SYSTEM Cancellation IMPROVEMENT N0. 1 BONDS OF 1957 HII,D IN THE SANITARY of Sanitary 9E~TER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT N0. 1 SINKING FUND Suer Imp. #1 Bonds of 1957: WHEREAS, the Vi7.lage of Falcon Heights issued sanitary surer system improvement No. 1 bonds of 1957 ~ th a amount of X900,000, and , WHEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights purchased X150,000.00 of said bonds under the provisions of MSA x.75.56 as part of the sinking fund for said improve- ment, ands WHEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights by resolution at a special meeting on September 18, 1963, authorized the General Obli- issuance of X525,000 of general obligation refunding improve- gaton Refunding ant bonds of 19b3, grid Improvement Bonds of 1963: VIHEREAS, it is the intention of the Village of Falcon Heights to refund the outstanding sanitary seer system improvement No. 1 bonds of 1957 by said general obligation refunding improvement bonds of 1963, and VaI~REAS, it is necessary to cancel those sanitary suer improvement No. 1 bonds oY 1957 held in the sinking fund for said improvement, NOJ~, gIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village of Falcon Heights that the sanitary sewer system improvement No. 1 bonds of 1957 in the aunt of $1.50,000 held in the sinking fund for said improvement are hereby canceled as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Nilsen and upon vote bein& taken thereon the follo~ring voted in favor therof: Nilsen, Mortenson, Shavor, Stone, Barkentiert, The following voted against the same: None Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. Engineer Lemberg: Roselawn Ave. Council was advised that the County of Ramsey will not Resurfacings resurface Roselawn as Engineer had requested. This necessitates calling for bids on this project in the spring of 196t~. Water Main & Council was advised that Nodland Construction Company Sewer Imp, of requested partial payment for the work they had completed 1963: to date.. Street Signs: Warkentien moved, seconded by Stone that the Village Engineer be authorized to have the County furnish and install eight signs reading ~No Parking for 30 feet-s Such signs will be placed on the follaving streets: Hol~,on and Garden Avenue, Pascal and Garden Avenue, and Idaho and Snelling Drive.
