2043 <br />Parking on Fairview Avenue After discussion regarding problem of parking in this <br />Just North of Larpenteur: area, and placing signs prohibiting parking on <br />the West side of Fairvie~r Avenue, it was decided <br />that Engineer Lemberg's office be requested to <br />write Deane Anklan of the County Engineer's office <br />for recommendations as to what course could be taken <br />to remedy the parking in the street situation that <br />now exists. <br />Zaier Garages <br />Council was advised that Zaier had decided to <br />abandon the garage in the location planned and <br />discussed in minutes of November 27, 1963, Zaier's <br />attorney now has copy of Village ordinances and <br />he has stated he will review same before mak~g . <br />a formal application for a building permit to <br />construct additional garage. It appears the past <br />action in regard to building this garage was merely <br />a misunderstanding. <br />Sewer Repair Work - A. VPalter Avoles of Avoles Plumbing presented an unpaid <br />1372 West Iowra Avenue bill of $152.00 due since September 12, 1962 to the <br />Bill due in 1962: Council and requested payment. After discussion <br />and review of the file on this matter, Stone moved, <br />Waxkentien seconded that this bill be paid inasmuch <br />as it was work involved in correcting the original <br />sewer installation at this address. Potion was <br />carried. <br />Proposed Subdivision Attorney Galvin advised that this proposed ordinance <br />Ordinance No. 69: is an up-grading of .our existing Planning and <br />Platting regulations which were adopted in 1951. <br />It is the recommendation of the Attorney and the <br />Engineer to adopt this ordinance. A revised draft <br />of wane was reviewed by the Council, and Attorney <br />Galvin advised he will prepare copies as revised <br />and *nail to each council member for his review. <br />Ordinance No. 3s This ordinance was discussed as to possible revision. <br />Skating rinks Lighting: Warkentien reported that installation of two posts <br />with one fixture directed to hockey rink and one <br />Idaho-Snelling to general skating on each post - 35 foot posts - <br />without posts cost is X277,00. If possible, posts <br />shall be obtained without cost; however, if not <br />possible, posts would be $1.40.00 making a total <br />of X417. Reflectorized units would be an additional <br />X16.00 for a total of X433,00. <br />Falcon Heights School: The price without poles at this location is X310, the <br />addition of a third pole would add another X155.00, <br />such pole to be placed on the south side of the rink <br />and would hecessitate removal during the baseball <br />season. <br />Waxkentien made motion that the above, which is a <br />quotation made by Puska Lighting Supply, be accepted <br />and that said company be authorized to construct <br />same provided that the poles are obtained without <br />charge to the Village of Falcon Heights.
