20.9 <br />REGULAR MEETING OF JANUARY 8, 196l~ <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7x00 P, M. with the following council <br />members presents Mayor Harold Nilsen; Clerk W. A. Mortenson; Trust~ea Willis <br />Warkentien, Charles Stone, and William Black. Also present was V3.11age Engineer <br />Brad Lemberg, Attorney Michael Galvin, Treasurer William E, Olsen, and Deputy <br />Clerk Tina Vavoulis. <br />Mrs. Duddleston and Mrs. Wyvell of the League of Women Voters of Falcon Heights <br />were present, <br />Stone moved, seconded by Warkentien that the minutes of the meeting of December <br />30, 1963 be approved. Motion carried, <br />Gasoline purchases for Warkentien moved, seconded by Stone that the <br />Year of 1964 - Opening of Village accept the low bid of the Falcon Heights <br />Bides Cities Service Station submitted January 3, <br />196l~ for gasoline purchases and other miscella- <br />neous items required and stipulated in bid <br />acceptance for the year 1961ts <br />Gasoline -regalar & high test -3~ discount <br />per gallon <br />Oil,fi.lters, lubrication & other <br />normal maintenance -1(3~ discount <br />from suggested <br />retail price <br />Tow service for Village vehicles -flat ~lt.(30 <br />anywhere within St. Paul limits <br />Service calls to start Village vehicles - <br />flat ~2.E~0 <br />as above. <br />The Clerk's office was authorized to notify <br />all Departments to make purchases accordingly, <br />also to advise Falcon Heights Shell Oil <br />Station, and the Standard Oil. Station, the <br />other two bidders, that contract had been <br />awarded to the Cities Service Station, the <br />lowest bidder. <br />Informal meeting with Clerk's office was instructed to notify the <br />Robert Ashbachs Planning Commission members of meeting with, <br /> Robert Ashbaeh, representative of the lt3rd <br /> District North, at 7s30 P.M. on Wednesday, <br /> January 15. <br />Correspondences <br />Water Dept. regarding Letter was read requesting submission of <br />use of hydrantss notices for hydrant use during winter season, <br /> to prevent freeze-up of hydrants. Maintenance <br /> man and fire department are to send notices to <br />Water Department each time a hydrant is used. <br />Minn. Heart Associations Request for notification of any Village regula- <br /> tions i.n connection with Heart Fund Campaign in <br /> February was read. The Village has no regula- <br /> tions and they will be so advised. <br />
