2081 <br />Engineer Lembergs <br />Playgrounds William Rorstad, chairman of Citizens Recreational <br /> Advisory Committee, has given a proposed playground <br /> map to the Engineer for his review. <br />Storm Sewer - Suggested possibility of running storm sewer down <br />Albert Street: Albert from Larpenteur Avenue to California with catch <br /> basins on all four corners - estimated cost based on <br /> current prices $l~,026. Discussion was held, <br />Autumn & Prior On Autumn and Prior the streets are choppy and in <br />Streetst generally bad condition, Engineer suggests bituminous <br /> curbing and repair of streets. Discussion was held and <br /> matter tabled until such time as petition is submitted, <br />ThePolice Department- Warkentien gave sumanary of violations during the month of <br />Activitys February, He also reported on results of timers that had <br /> bean laid on Larpenteur and Fairview Avenues this week. <br />Vacations: Motion made by Warkentien that the present police and. fire <br /> department employees and all present salaried employees <br /> be placed on a calendar ~~.r basis as far as eligibility for <br /> cations is concerned - this to be effective as of January <br /> 1, l96?~. Motion seconded by Black and upon a vote being <br /> taken thereon, the motion was carried. <br />Change of Venue: It was sugg~:sted that when the court rules in favor of the <br /> defendant and against the plaintiff (Village of Falcon <br />Court cases Heights) on cases where change of venue has been requested, <br /> that the attorney representing this Village make note ,of <br /> his observations in court and make sugges Lions to the <br /> Police Commissioner for possible improvements or changes <br /> in their procedure. <br />Bills; Stone moved, seconded by Black that the following bills <br /> be paid.
