~2~`3$"~ <br />REGULAR MEETING OF P,~IARCH 25, 196l~ <br />The meeting was called to order at 7x00 P.M. with the following members <br />present: Mayor Harold. C. Nilsen;. Clerk W.A~ Mortenson; Trustees Willis <br />Warkentien, Charles Stone, and William Black. Also present were Engineer <br />Brad Lemberg, Attorney Michael Galvin, and Deputy Clerk Tina Vavoulis. <br />P~Irs. Lois Edwards was present for the League of Women Voters. Miss Lois <br />Holtz of the Ramsey County Suburban Life Newspaper was also present. <br />Black moved, seconded by Stone that the minutes of the special hearing of <br />March ~.I.th, 196l~ be approved. Carried. <br />Mortenson moved, seconded by Warkentien that the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of March 11th, 1961 be approved. Carried. <br />Proposed Garden Supply Black moved the adoption of the following Resolution: <br />Center: <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAN FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />OF GARDEN SUPPLY CEPITER AND CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERP~4IT FOR FRANK FRAZER <br />WHEREAS, on March 11, 196I~ 14~r. Frank Frazer <br />of the Falcon Heights Hardware Store applied for <br />a conditional use permit under the provisions of <br />Section 16.5 of Ordinance b4 of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights, in order to construct a garden <br />supply center, and <br />WHEREAS, said application for conditional use <br />permit has been referred to the Planning Commission <br />of said Village, and said permit has been approved <br />by said Planning Commission conditioned as set forth <br />below, and <br />tiN~iEREAS, the proposed use will not be detrimental <br />to the health and safety or general welfare of the <br />community nor vrill cause serious traffic congestion nor <br />hazards nor vri11 seriously depreciate surrounding <br />property values and that the same is in harmony with <br />the general purpose and intent of the ordinance in the <br />comprehensive plan, <br />NCNB, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE <br />C0UNCIZ OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />1. Said plat plan, a copy of which is on file <br />with the Clerk of the Village of Falcon Heights, is <br />hereby approved as modified on March 25, 1964. <br />2. Said conditional use permit is conditionally <br />approved subject to the following conditions created <br />by the Planning Commission of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights, and concurred in by the Village Council: <br />(a) Side yard set back of ten feet; rear <br />yard set back of twenty feet to conform with <br />Village Ordinance. <br />
