The applicant must apply fora building permit <br />as requited under the provisions of Ordinance No. 3 of the <br />Village of Falcon Heights, as amended, anal said plans <br />submitted to the Zoning Administrator and Building <br />Inspector for issuance of said permit, must reflect the <br />written approval of the Village Consulting Engineer. <br />1 <br />The above motion was seconded by Stone, and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the Resolution was adopted by the <br />Council this 25th day of lt4arch, 1964. <br />Shell Service Station Mr. Donald Johnston was present upon request of the <br />Trailers for Rent: Council and advised that the three trailers on his lot were <br />not for sale or rent, but are merely parked there for the <br />convenience of his customers. He has no trailers for rent <br />or sale at the present time. Mr. Wayne Parker of the <br />U-Haul Trailers was present and explained the operation of <br />trailer rentals. He requested permission to rent trailers <br />through the She11 Service Station. A conditional use <br />permit would have to be submitted. by parties involved, <br />and the Council would then refer same to the Planning <br />Commission for their consideration and recommendations, <br />before any further action can be taken. Johnston was so <br />informed. <br />Ray Schommer~s Display Mr. Schommer was present and after discussion regarding <br />Swimming Pool: the parking problem, he was advised that the members of the <br />Council do not object to his placing signs on the property <br />he is leasing for swimming pool display (and sub-leasing <br />for the garden supply center) to the effect that "Parking <br />for Customers Only" is al lowed. <br />Bethel College - George Tfsartens, builder, was present and submitted variance <br />Proposed Apartment permit for councilis approval. Variance is requested in <br />Building: the following areas: <br />1. Density wish to build for 11 units - 22 stories. <br />2. Waiver of minimum lot requirements -12,500 feet <br />is required and lot is 12,000 feet. <br />3. Side yard requirement. <br />4. 14 parking spaces provided for 11 units. <br />5. Attached plot plan desired. <br />6. Street access to parking lot. <br /> <br />Black moved, seconded by Nilsen that the application for <br />variance submitted by Bethel College for construction of <br />11 unit apartment building on Lot 7, Block 13 in Northome 3rd <br />Addition be referred to the Planning Commission for their <br />consideration and recommendation. Upon a vote being taken <br />thereon, this motion was carried. <br />
