2089 <br />Roberts Apartment Building- Mr. Andrew Hustrulid of 1805 No. Fairview was heard. <br />Complaint About Parking: regarding his complaint that cars are being parked <br />on the lawn and generally all over the grounds of <br />the Roberts Apartments. <br />Street Lighting: When asked about conditions of street lighting on Fairview <br />Avenue, Mr. Hustrulid believes the people on Fairview would <br />prefer not installing lights because of the poles that must <br />come grit h them. <br />Proposed Reciprocal Fire The following resolution was introduced by member Stone, who <br />Service Agreement Among moved its adoption: <br />North Suburban <br />Co~rununities: V~IHEREAS, a proposed agreement for a reciprocal Fire Service <br />Agreement has been presented to the Falcon Heights Volunteer <br />Department, and the Village of Falcon He~~~~or adoption, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that it is necessary in order to <br />proceed further that there must be additional discussions to <br />define the proposed agreement, and <br />WHEREAS, the proposal contained in said agreement is <br />meritorious, and would further fire protection in the Village <br />of Falcon Heights, and surrounding north suburban municipalities, <br />NO6'd, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Village Council <br />of the Vi7.lage of Falcon Heights that said Council approve <br />in principle the proposed Reciprocal Mutual Fire Service <br />Agreement among the North Suburban Communities and authorizes <br />representatives of the Village of Falcon Heights Fire Dept, <br />to conduct further discussion with other north suburban fire <br />departments in order to produce a workable agreement, which <br />will be acceptable to the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />Upon a second to the motion by Warkentien, and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />Fire Department - Al Helbig, Fire Chief, advised the council that Gordon <br />Tank Truck: Nelson of the Volunteer Fire Department, had spent <br />approximately twenty hours repairing the tank truck in <br />order to make it ready for sale. <br />California Curb and RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />Gutter: AND ORDE;RII~IG ADVERTISEi~YENT FOR BIDS FOR THE IT/R'ROVE~ <br />MENT OF CALIFORNIA AVENUE BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />CURBS AND GUTTERS FROM THE VEST LINE OF HAMLINE <br />AVENUE TO THE EAST LINE OF PASCAL AVENUE <br />V'~IEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council <br />on I~~Iarch 1.t, 196l~, Bonestroo, Rosene and Associates have <br />prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of <br />California Avenue between the west line of Hamline Avenue <br />and the East line of Pascal Avenue by construction of curbs <br />and gutters aid has presented such plans and specifications <br />to the council for approval.; <br />I <br />1 <br />NOW, THEREFORk;, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA: <br />
