Mrs. Hefty .will be referred to the minutes <br />of the meeting of~' May ~'b,~p 1^9b0~ at which time the <br />Village Engineer had~been instructed to arrange for <br />construction of a suitable entrance too narrow to <br />permit vehicular traffic. <br />Report of Engineers <br />Congregational Church Mr. Lyford of the Falcon Heights Congregational Church has <br />Barthel Villas Lot: been in touch with the engineer and when the lot in question <br />is dry, work mill be commenced to remedy the water <br />situation, <br />California Curb and The concrete is all in and gravel will be replaced and <br />Gutters repair of street will soon be under way. =f a radius were <br />put on Hemline Avenue, same would be located on the <br />Radius boulevard and in the grass, so it is deemed advisable <br />not to have radius on Hemline Avenue. <br />Village Employeest <br />Holidays After discussion, Council decided that inasmuch as <br />i~ro holidays, July ltth and Memorial Day, fall on <br />Saturdays and all employees are entitled to six paid <br />holidays a year, employees Quern and Vavoulis are <br />entitled to one day off for eac~r of these, Same can <br />be accumulated and added to vacation if so desired.. <br />Quern's request for the Friday off before Memorial Day <br />will be granted only if McCrossan Construction Company <br />is not working on Village projects on that day. <br />Safety Deposit Box: Stone introduced the follaoPing resolution and moved. <br />its adoptions <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY 3~iE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAC,E OF <br />FALCON HEIGiiTS that the continued leasing of a safety <br />deposit box in the Safe Deposit Vaults of the Falcon <br />Heights State Bank, Falcon Heights, J~dinnesota be <br />authorized and confirmed for the remainder of the <br />calendar year of 196t~, and <br />BE IT FLRTHER RESOLVED that authority to <br />have access to said safety deposit box until the <br />first day of January 1965, and to remove any part <br />or all of the contents, is hereby given to the <br />followring: <br />W. A. Mortenson, Village Clerk <br />or <br />William E, Olsen, Village ~easvrer <br />or <br />Matina Vavoulis, Deputy Clerk & Deputy Treasurer. <br />The above resolution eras seconded by Black, and upon a <br />vote being taken thereon, the resolution was adopted <br />by the Council of the ViLlge of Falcon Heights this 27th <br />day of May, l96l~. <br />I <br /> <br />
