2119 Ray Schomner -Annual Mr. Sehomner was present regarding renewal of permit Permit for Display issued to allow swimming pool display. Council was Swimming Pool advised that no swimming is allowed in display pool Renewed: unless child is accompanied by a parent. Motion made by Stone, seconded by Black that upon payment of the fee of ~2.OO for renewal, permit be issued for the year May 1, 196l~ through April 30, 1965 - to operate display swimming pool. Motion carried. Engineer Lemberg's Report: Inasmuch as Lindig Avenue Grading Project has been completed as to specifications in contract, Engineer Lember recommended Lindig Avenue Gradingpayment in the amount of ~l~,l:Ei>..20. Lindig Avenue Curbs Lemberg stated that where no driveways are established and Gutters on a newly constructed street 'surmountable' curbs-can be installed; driveways can then be placed anywhere without a ten foot section being torn away as would be the case if regular curbing were installed. If 'sur- mountable' curbs ar® acceptable to the Council, the whole job of Lindig Avenue could be completed. The engineer does not recomamend putting in a mat at this time without curb and gutter. The following resolution was introduced by Nilsen, and seconded by Stone: RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE TI~PROVEA~PTT OF LINDIG AVENUE BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS AND BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF Lindig Avenue STREET Resolution Approving Plans and Ordering WHEREAS,pursuant to a resolution passed by the Advertisement Council on May 27, 196l~, the Village Consulting Engineers, for Bids Bonestroo, Rosene and Associates have prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Lindig Avenue betwe®n the north line of Larpenteur Avenue and the north terminal point of Lindig Avenue as platted, by the construction of surmountable curbs and Butters, and have presented said plans and specifications for approval by the Village Council, NAht, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL rV'~ BY THE VILT,AGE COUNCII, OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby apjx owed. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The adv®rtisement shall be published for ten days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 8:00 P.M. on July 22 in the council chambers of the village hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed anal filed with the clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the cle~sk for 5~ of the amount of such bid.
