AVENUE <br />Whereas, the Village Council of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights is keenly aware of the necessity for an <br />additional northerly entrance and exit to and from the <br />Minnesota State Fair Grounds which are located within <br />the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the interests of the <br />P~4innesota Agricultural Society (The Minnesota State <br />Fair), the University of Minnesota, and the Village of <br />Falcon Heights would best be served by an additional <br />northerly entrance and exit from the State Fair Grounds <br />through University property to Larpenteur Avenue located <br />within the Village of Falcon Heights, <br />N06~d, THL"P~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED A5 FOLLC~IS: <br />1. The Village of Falcon Heights strongly urges <br />that the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota <br />Agricultural Society develop an additional access road <br />to the State Fair Grounds as a southerly extension of <br />Fairview Avenue as it presently exists in the Village <br />of Falcon Heights, from Larpenteur Avenue south to <br />Randall Avenue. <br />2. A copy of this Resolution be f'or~varded to the <br />University of b~,innesota Agricultural School Dean, the <br />Executive Director of the rinnesota Agricultural Society, <br />and the appropriate Legislative Interim Committee. <br />Id~otion was seconded by ~Y+arkentien and upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the resolution was adopted this 2ltth day <br />of June 19bt~, <br />
