212s <br />Conditional Use Permit Mr. Robert Forster was present and made application for <br />for Sign at the conditional use permit to place sign on the roof of the <br />Flameburgers Flameburger Restaurant. After discussion, Stone intro- <br />duced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />rdotion was seconded by ti~'arkentien: <br />VIHEREAS, Robert Forster has made an application for <br />conditional use permit and filed the same with the <br />Village of Falcon Heights along with the fee of X5.00, <br />and <br />1~`~iEREAS, the Council of the Village of Falcon Heights <br />has recommended that said application be granted by <br />reason of the following: <br />1. The sign, which is to be a lighted arrow on a <br />red background, be placed next to the existing sign on top <br />of the building is in harmony with the general purpose and <br />intent ofOrdinance 64, Section 1l~. <br />2. The proposed sign will not have an adverse effect <br />upon the health, safety and welfare of the community <br />existing and anticipated. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the <br />Village of Falcon Heights grants the conditional use appli- <br />cation made by Robert Forster on the 2ltth day of June 196l~. <br />Erection of said sign is on that property described as the <br />Flameburger Restaurant located at 1533 W. Larpentsur within <br />the Village of Falcon Heights, which property is presently <br />zoned as B-2, all under the provisions of Section 16.5, <br />Ordinance No. bLt of the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />Upon a vote being taken, the above resolution was ddopted <br />this 2?~th day of June, 1964. <br />Alley between Larpenteur Mr. John Ringus of 1367 W. California was present regarding <br />and Galifornia - the condition of the alley. He stated there were spots where <br />Hamline and Alberts bituminous is breaking and bel ieved it should be seal-coated <br />to preserve. Lemberg advised it had been seal-coated i.n <br />1962 and in accordance with the rotating maintenance program <br />would be seal-coated every four years. In the meantime, the <br />maintenance man will patch where necessary. <br />~No Parking' sign on Mr. Ringus pointed dnt that cars often park on Hamline Avenue <br />Hamline Avenues 3ust south of the above-mentioned alley, on the west side of <br />the street. ti7hen approaching the street from the alley, it <br />is difficult to see approaching cars. Lemberg will contact <br />W. Chenoweth of the County Highway Department regarding 'No <br />Parkingt sign being placed at that location. (Ramsey County <br />Traffic Safety Engineer Chenoweth.) <br />Dutch Elm Disease: Deputy Clerk was instructed to request newspapers to print <br />neMrrs item relative to procedure to take if elm disease is <br />suspected. Procedure was outlined by Tv.innesota Department <br />of Agriculture pivision of Plant Industry and is in the <br />Clerks files. <br />
