2130 <br />REGULAR P~~~T7NG OF JULY 22, 196l~ <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M, with the follg <br />members present: Acting Mayor ti'dillis Warkentien; Clerk W. A. Mortenson; <br />Trustees Charles P. Stone and William Black. Absent: Mayor Harold Nilsen. <br />Also present were Treasurer William E. Olsen, Engineer Bradford Lemberg, <br />Attorney i~~ichael Galvin, and Deputy Clerk 2`ina Vavoulis. <br />Sky-Diving Exhibition Mr. Lan We11s of th® Twi.n Eagles Sky Diving Exhibition <br />at Minnesota State Team was present. He explained that the divers will be <br />Fair: landing in open pasture on the fair grounds. Member <br />Stone introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Aeronautics has <br />referred to the Village Council of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights the request of the Twin Eagles Sky Diving Exhibi- <br />tion Team for permission under the rules and regulations <br />of the Department of Aeronautics for exhibition sky-diving <br />permit, and <br />YJHEREAS, the Twin Eagles Exhibition Team entered into <br />a contract with the State Agricultural. Society, and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that there is no statute or <br />ordinance controlling the granting of such permission, <br />I~ IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Village of Falcon <br />Heights take no action, and <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the Resolution <br />be forwarded to the Minnesota Department of Aeronautics. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by member Black and upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mortenson, Warkentien, Stone and Black. Y+fhereupon said <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Minutes approved: Mortenson moved, seconded by Black that the minutes of <br />the regular meeting of July 8 be approved. Carried. <br />Licenses issued for Having met the requirements of village ordinances, it vas <br />Year July 1, 196l~ moved by Black, seconded by Warkentien and duly carried to <br />through June 30, 1965: issue Plaster Gas Installer's Licenses to the following: <br />Master Gas #185 Francis T. Wagner -Rose Plumbing & Htg. Co. <br />Installers 1125 W. County Road B, St. Paul. <br />#18l~ R. E. Peterson - TRri.n City Furnace Company <br />x.59 No. Snelling Ave., St. Paul <br />Gasoline Filling Having met the requirements, it was mw ed by Black, <br />Stations: seconded by Stone and carried to issue license to <br />operate a gasoline filling station to the following: <br />#122 Donald Johnston dba Falcon Heights Shell Service <br />1It07 West Larpenteur Avenue <br />
