2165 <br />Black moved, Warkentien seconded that the <br />following resolution be adopted.: <br />Resolution Certifying RESOLUTION AU'ffIORIZING THE PAYMENT OF STATEt~NT <br />Cost of Destroying OF COST OF DESTROYING ~CEEDS AND CERTIFYING SAME <br />Weedss TO THE RAA~EY COUNTY AUDITOR <br />11PHEREAS, that certain real estate located in the <br />Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, owned by Julia <br />Lindig, 1870 W. Roselawn Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota <br />described as <br />Ex N 225 feet of South 825 feet W"of E 25 feet, the <br />South 1,050 feet more or less of the_:East 1/3 of the <br />Northwest 1/!~ of the East 60 acres of the Southwest <br />1/~. of Section 16, Township 29, Range 23 <br />has been found by the Village Weed Inspector to be <br />infested with noxious weed grovrth, and <br />WHEREAS, said Weed Inspector caused the notice <br />required by statute to be served upon the said Julia <br />Lindig requiring her to eradicate said weeds, and <br />WHEREAS, said Julia Lindig has not complied with said <br />notice, said Weed Inspector authorized J. W. Koalska to <br />destroy said noxious weed growth standing and growing upon <br />the above described real estate, and <br />WH~:REAS, said J. W. Koalska did comply with the <br />Inspectorts authorization to destroy said noxious <br />growth of weed and has filed his statement of cost of <br />destroying weeds with the Village Clerk in a total amount <br />of ~lt2.00, <br />NCii~, 'II-iEREFORE, BE IT RESt~LVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota <br />1. The Village Treasurer is hereby authorized to <br />pay a sum of ~l~2.00 to J. W. Koalska as the cost of <br />destroying weeds on the above described real estate, and <br />2. The Clerk of the Village of Falcon Heights is <br />hereby authorized to certify said statement tca the C©unty <br />Auditor for the purpose of having the same extended upon <br />the tax lists and become a lien in the nature of a special <br />assessment upoh said property, <br />Upon a vote being taken, the above resolution was adopted <br />by the Council this 7-11~h day of October, ly6l~. <br />Application for Rezoning The following is recommendation of the Planning Conanission <br />a part of Lindig Addition: as regards the Lindig Feti.tion for Rezoning: <br />WHEREAS, Arthur Lindig, the owner of the ~`orth <br />53.51 feet of the South 353.51 feet of Lot 5, Block 2 ~ <br />Lindig~s Addition, Ramsey County, Minnesota has made <br />application to the Village Council of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights on September 9, 196l~ for rezoning of <br />said property from R-l to R-2 and <br />
