2166 <br />WHEREAS, said petition was executed by 50% or more <br />of the property owners abutting the land affected and, <br />WHEREAS said petition was referred to the Planning <br />Commission of the Village of Falcon Heights for a public <br />hearing and the recommendations of said conanission, and <br />WHEREAS on September 11, 196I~ mailed notice of the <br />public hearing on said petition for September 30, 196l~ was <br />given to all property owners within 300 feet of the outer <br />boundaries of the property in question, and <br />WHEREAS notice of said public hearing to be held <br />Application for September 30, 196l~ was published in the Village legal <br />Rezoning a part newspaper on September 16, 196I~, and <br />of Lindig Additions <br />WHEREAS at said public hearing held by the Planning <br />Commission of the Village of Falcon Heights on September 30, <br />196t~ all opponents or proponents of the proposed rezoning <br />were given an opportunity to be heard orally or in ~!rriting <br />at said meeting, and <br />WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights has considered in addition to the oral and <br />written statements presented at said hearing the health, <br />safety and welfare of the community, existing and anticipated <br />traffic conditions, light and air, danger of fire, risks of <br />public safety, the effect on the values of the property in <br />the surrounding area, the effect of the proposed rezoning <br />upon the comprehensive ordinance and plan of the Village, the <br />effect of the rezoning ~n parking facilities on adjacent <br />streets aid the general welfare of the community, it is <br />therefore recom~nendedt <br />(1) The petition and. application for rezoning of the <br />above described property be denied by the Village <br />Council. <br />(2) Copy of this Resolution be forwarded by the <br />Chairman of this Commissionto the Clerk of the <br />Village of Falcon Heights. <br />(s) George W, Plant <br />Chairman <br />(s) Frances S, Berdie <br />Secretary dated October 9, 196l~. <br />The following resolution was introduced by Stone who moved <br />its adoptions <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reported to the <br />Village Council written recommendation on the Lindig <br />rezoning application, and <br />«HEREAS, Ordinance 6t~ requires the Village Council to <br />hold a public hearing following published notice <br />NC7fNt, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUATCII, <br />OF FALCON HEIC,HTS <br />1. That a Public Hearing be held at 8x00 P.~i. on <br />November !t, 196l~ at the Village Hall, 16ltla, West Larpenteur <br />
