2169 <br />variance from the zoning ordinance and filed the same <br />with the Zoning Administrator for the Village of <br />Falcon Heights along with the fee of X5.00 and <br />WHEREAS, the matter has been referred to the <br />Planning Commission for the Village of Falcon Heights, and <br />V9HEREA.S, the .Planning Commission of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights has recommended that application be <br />granted by reason of the following: <br />1. The neighbors to the north at 1735 No. Simpson <br />have in writing stated they do not object to the <br />variance. <br />2. Z'he neighbors to the south at 1728 No. Simpson <br />have indicated in writing that a mutual easement of <br />perpetual duration was drawn that would allow a driveway <br />to be constructed between the two lots. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the Village <br />Council of Falcon Heights grants the variance appli- <br />cation made by dames b~ikkelson on the 23rd day of <br />September for use of that property described at Lot 13, <br />Block 7, Falcon Heights Addition located at 1?31 North <br />Simpson Street within the Village of Falcon Heights, <br />which property is presently zoned as R-1, all under the <br />provisions of Section 16.05 Ordinance 6?~. The granting <br />of this variance shall allow the applicant to <br />(a) build the family room in accordance with plans <br />submitted - to within three feet of the north side of <br />the pro arty line at 1731 North Simpson, and <br />(b~ construct a driveway up to the lot line on the <br />south side, and <br />(c) construct a garage within two feet of side lot <br />line and five feet from the rear lot line. <br />provided that the easement which was presented for review <br />by the Village Attorney is recorded. <br />Z'he above motion was seconded by ti'~arkentien, and upon a <br />vote being taken, the motion was carried. <br />Lindig Street Curb and <br />Gutter Surfacing The Hearing on this proposed assessment was continued <br />Proposed Assessment to this evening in accordance with resolution passed <br />Hearings September 23, 1964. Lemberg advised that there are <br />1,276.30 assessable feet on the center line of Lindig <br />Street and the assessable footage, therefore, amounts <br />to 2,552.60. Total project cost is X15,024.33 or <br />X5.89 afoot. <br />Art Lindigz To finish the job, the back end should be cleaned up. <br />Some guarantee that this will be finished should be <br />given. Als©, curbing on the back should be finished. <br />There are a few low spots. There is a pile of dirt in <br />back which should be picked up. <br />
