2202 <br />Posting Places: On motion by Warkentien, seconded by Black and carried, <br />the following places were designated as posting places: <br />(1) Blomberg's Store -Iowa & Hamline Avenue <br />(2) Falcon Heights Pharmacy 1707 No. Snelling <br />(3) Applebaum's Market - 1558 West Larpenteur <br />(!~) Village Hall -16~.1~ West Larpenteur <br />Deputy Clerk and Upon requests of Village Clerk and Village Treasurer, <br />Deputy Treasurer: Black moved, seconded by Stone that the Clerk and Treas~er <br />be authorized to appoint a Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer <br />Motion carried. Strandquist and Olsen then appointed Tina <br />Vavoulis for the year 1965. <br />Assistant Deputy Clerk Upon requests of Village C7E rk and Village Treasurer, <br />& Assistant Deputy Black moved, seconded by Stone that the Clerk and Treasurer <br />Treasurers be authorized to appoint an Assistant Deputy Clerk and <br /> Assistant Deputy Treasurer. Motion Carried, Strandquist <br /> and Olsen then ap~ointed Bernard C, Kuefler as Assistant <br /> Deputy Clerk and ssistant Deputy Treasurer. <br />Disposal of old stoves: Strandquist moved that Ken Quarn be authorized to dispose <br /> of three old stoves that had been used in warming houses, <br /> but are now unsafe, and that he also remove hoses and <br /> other items attached to the maintenance truck before <br /> Midway Ford Company claims it. Motion seconded by Black <br /> and carried. <br />Flag: Strandquist moved that bids be secured for installation <br /> of a flag pole. Seconded by Black and carried. <br />Representative and Nils en introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Alternate to Ramsey adoptions <br />County League of <br /> <br />Municipalities: ~~g the Villa e of Falcon Hei hts is a member in <br /> good standing of the Ramsey County League of Municipalit~s, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights desires to <br /> continue its participation in the Ramsey County League of <br /> Municipalities, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of <br />Falcon Heights hereby designates William H. Black 4s its <br />representative to the Ramsey County League of Municipali- <br />ties for the period of one year to December 3l, 19b5. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village of Falcon <br />Heights hereby designates Herbert Strandquist as its <br />alternate representative to the Ramsey Co. League of Munic. <br />The motion was seconded by Stone and upon a vote being <br />taken, thereon, the resolution was adopted. <br />Ramsey County League Discussion was held regarding the sewers and a Bill For an <br />of Municipalities Act Relating to Sanitation, Establishing a District Inclu- <br />meeting January 20, ding Punicipalities Located in Rar-sey, Washington, and <br />1965 - Dakota Counties which are now or Will in the Future be <br />Sewers and Served by St. Pat~1. Sanitary Sewer System for Disposal of <br />Possible Districts Sanitary Seuvage and Providing Powers and Organization of <br />Such District for the Purpose of Furnishing Sanitary <br />Sewers and Other WasteDisposal, the Financing Thereof and <br />the Necessary Taxing Authority therefor. This bill will <br />be discussed at meeting of thisLeague on January 20~ 1965. <br />
