223l~ <br />REGULAR iUIEETING OF APRIL 28, 1965 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M, with -the following members present: <br />Nilsen, Strandquist, Warkentien, Stone and Black. Also present were Engineer <br />Lemberg, Attorney Galvin and Deputy Clerk T. Vavoulis. <br />Black moved, seconded by Stone and carried to approve the minutes of the meeting <br />of April 1lt, 1965. <br />Mrs. Betty Ernst was present for the League of Women ®oters. <br />Correspondence: Letter from Richard W. Turnlund, Vi1.lage Manager of Roseville <br />Roseville - Storm was read which confirmed meeting date of May 5, 1965 to <br />Sewers discuss storm sewer problems. <br /> Insurance Coverage Attorney Calvin's letter of April 21 was read regarding <br /> Municipal Employees: insurance uoverage of volunteer fire department employees. <br /> Automobile Attorney's letter stated the maximum amount which shall be <br /> Expensess paid by any village for auto expenses shall not exceed <br /> 72¢ $ mile. <br /> Open House - Near Invitation was extended to attend open house at the near <br /> Ramsey County Librarys Ramsey County Library, Hamline and County Road B, on <br /> Sunday, May 2nd. <br /> 196l~ Traffic Count <br />Surveys Engineer Lemberg~s letter of April 26 was read and copy of <br />196t~ M.S.A. traffic count survey as submitted to the State <br /> Highway Department was enclosed. <br /> North Suburban William B. Korstad~s letter of April 19 with check for <br /> Lions Club Donation: $200.00 from the North Suburban Lions Club was presented. <br /> Jerry J. Brown, secretary of the Lions Club, in his letter <br /> of March 30, stated this donation was to be used for <br /> recreation purposes. <br />Master Gas Installer Nilsen moved, seconded by Strandquist that inasmuch as <br />License: Kenneth W. Chinander has met the requirements for Master <br />Gas Installer's License, that said license be granted. <br />Motion Carried, <br />North Suburban Write-up to be included in the North Suburban Directory <br />Directorys published by R, L. Polk Company was revie~ared and approved. <br />The Flameburger Black moved that Robert L. Forester, oaaner of the Flameburgsr <br />1533 W. Larpenteur: be granted a building permit for his property at 1533 W. <br />Larpenteur, described as Lot 13, Block 10, for extension of <br />five feet of that building, with no over-hang. Qariance <br />application is not required. Motion was seconded by <br />Warkentien and carried. <br />Steam Jenny Nilsen moved authorization be granted for cost of a tune up <br />Repairs: fob on the steam 3enny - $15.00 to ~55.tj0. If, after inves- <br />tigation, it is found that additional expense is involved <br />for further repair, the maintenance department should be so <br />notified before proceeding. Black seconded motion and it <br />eras carried. <br />
