22l~5 <br />Jorgenson Apartment Black mewed, Stone seconded that request of Arthur <br />Building -1707 Tatums Jorgenson be granted and he is hereby granted permission <br />to construct a six car garage in lieu of the four car <br />garage previously approved at 1707 Tatum Street. It is <br />understood that the addition of these two garage spaces <br />will not conflict with the parking spaces previously <br />approved and will not violate side yard nor rear yard <br />set back requirements. Motion was carried. <br />Engineer's Report - <br />Boulevard grading <br />between Autumn and <br />West Falcon Heights <br />Playground areas <br />Engineer recommended that the boulevard between the West <br />Falcon Heights Playground area and the back lot line of <br />house at 1997 Autumn be graded to permit walkway. County <br />has agreed to grade and level tkie land. Warkentien moved, <br />Strandquist seconded that council authorize Ken warn to <br />obtain gravel and place on this location, which is on the <br />south side of Roselawn Avenue. Motion carried. <br />Drinking Fountain Engineer stated a drinking fountain and an outlet for a <br />West Falcon Heights hose. could be installed by putting a tap into the main and <br />Playground: using a frost-proof type hydrant, then placing inverted <br />faucet. The cost would be between $100 and X125. <br />Falcon Heights School Dome type shelters were discussed for the playground area <br />Playground area - at the Falcon Heights Elementary School. For the present, <br />Shelters Engineer will make recommendation as to whether or not the <br />existing warming house is repairable. <br />Striping of County County has stated that striping of county streets in this <br />Streets: village wiL1 be completed in June. <br />Seal Coating and The following resolution was introduced by Warkentien who <br />Patching and Paving moved its adoptions <br />Project - 1965: <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council <br />on April 28, 1965, the village engineer has prepared plans <br />and specifications in accordance with the four year and area <br />rotational for street improvement program,for the improvement <br />of alleys by seal'coatng, for general maintenance of streets, <br />and for the Village parking lot, and has presented plans and <br />specifications for approval, <br />N0~(, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED s <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are <br />on file in the Village Clerk's office are hereby approved. <br />2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be <br />inserted in the o~.cial paper an advertisement for bids upon <br />the making of such improvement under such approved plans and <br />specifications. The advertisement shall be published for <br />ten days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that <br />bids will be opened and. considered by the Gouncil at 8s00 P.M. <br />on June 23, 1965 in the council chambers of the Village Hall <br />and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed <br />with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's <br />check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Glerk for <br />~ per cent of the amount of such bid. <br />Motion was duly seconded by Strandquist and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted for same: Nilsen, <br />Strandquist, Black, Warkentien and Stone and. the following <br />
