2258 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsl~-and Sons are <br />the lowest responsible bidders, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTAs <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with T. A. Schifsky and <br />Sons in the name of the Village of Falcon Heights for the <br />street and alley and maintenance project of 1965 according <br />to plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village <br />Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. <br />2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br />and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a <br />contract has been signed. <br />The motion was duly seconded by Nilsen and upon a vote <br />being taken, resolution was adopted by the Village Council <br />this 23rd day of June 1965. <br />Ramsey County Mr. Frank Paskewitz of the Ramsey County Historical <br />Historical Society: Society was present to request permission to place a <br /> one-room school house on the grounds of the Society at <br /> Larpenteur and Cleveland Avenues. For the variance form <br /> necessary, Warkentien moved, Stone seconded that the fee <br /> of X5.00 be waived. Motion carried. <br />Insurance Coverage Stone will inform Fire Department employees and volunteers <br />Fire Department that the Village must be informed. about any changes in car <br />Employees and insurance. Employees hired hereafter must show certificate <br />Volunteers: of insurance and copy of same is to be kept on file in <br /> Clerks office. <br />Tornado - Salary for Stanley Schultz, Civil Defense Director, has returned <br />assisting: check received from the Village of Falcon Heights for six <br />hours duty during the tornadoes in May. <br />Desk colds Council approved of sale of used table (used as desk prior <br />to purchase of office desk) to deputy clerk for payment of <br />X1..00. <br />Gasoline filling Application for Gasoline Filling Station Operator's License <br />Station Licensees made by Shell Oil Station was tabled pending the owners <br />appearance at a special council meeting to be called for <br />Shell Oil Station: the purpose of discussing certain practices at said station. <br />,tee ~~ a ~z s~~ <br />Clerk was instructed to send registered letter to the <br />Standard Oil Company advising that license cannot be <br />Standard Oil granted for operating gasoline filling station until such <br />Stations time as firm action is taken with regard to disposing of <br />refuse. ~~ ~j~,~ ..z ..~ ss- <br />Resolution Ordering Warkentien introduced the follwwi.ng resolution and moved <br />Continuance of Public its adoption: <br />Hearing -Imp. #65-1: <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted on <br />
