2293 application made by Arthur S, Jorgenson on <br />September 15, 1965 for variance use of that <br />property described as the N 150 feet of the <br />S 333 feet of the W 1/3 of the S 1/2 of the <br />W 1/2 of the E 60 acres of the StN~ 1/!~ of <br />Sec. 16, T. 29, R. 23 located at 1707 Tatum <br />Street within the Village ofFalcon Heights, <br />which property is presently zoned at R-3, all <br />under the provisions of Section 16.05, Ordinance <br />6!t for the following reason: <br />1. Said variance is not in harmony with the <br />general purpose and intent of the ordinance and <br />comprehensive plan of the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />The above motion was seconded by Stone and the <br />following vote was recorded: Ayesz All. Motion carried. <br />Stop Payment on Black moved, seconded by Strandquist that Treasurer <br />Two Checkss be authorized to issue stop payment orders on the <br />following two cheeks: <br />1. General Fund check 2122 issued to Ramsey <br />County Suburban Life on the ll~th day of May 196t~ <br />for various advertisetteents for bids and publications <br />in the amount of ~291~.30. <br />2. General Fund check 239lt issued to Nancy <br />Stevenson on November 2l~, 196lt for election fudge <br />duties in the amount of $5.50. <br />The above amounts shall be credited to the General <br />Fund account of the Village of Falcon Heights. The <br />following vote was recorded. Ayess All, Nays: <br />None. Motion was carried. <br />Investment of Fundsz Treasurer Olsen made report of funds available for <br />investment at the present time, whereupon Black <br />moved, Stone seconded the adoption of the following <br />resolutions <br />WHEREAS, on September 30, 1965 there will be <br />funds available for investments, and <br />'WHEREAS, a schedule of investments and surplus <br />funds has been prepared by the Village Treasurer, <br />NO~if, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVED that the Village <br />Treasurer is authorized to make such investments of <br />funds in United States Treasury Bonds and United <br />States Treasury BiL1s to mature as indicated in schedule. <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following vote was recorded: <br />Ayes: All.
