2305 <br />Northeast Area Storm Nilsen moved, seconded by Strandquist and <br />Sewer Improvement unanimously carried that Bradford Lemberg, P.E. <br />65 1: write letter, with copy to the St. Paul Dispatch, <br />and to Roseville's Administrator, regarding news <br />article appearing in the October 12th issue. This <br />letter is for the purpose of clarifying statements <br />regarding the Northeast Area Storm Sewer Improve- <br />ment 65-1 so there is a better understanding on <br />the part of the populace. <br />Reports from Maintenance, After discussion, council instructed the Clerk to <br />Police and Fire Depart- notify Kenneth Quarn, maintenance department to be <br />ments: present at the council meeting of the 27th of _ <br />October, Al Helbig, fire chief to be present on <br />the 2l~th of November, and Donald Arndt, police <br />commissioner to be present on the 10th of November <br />at 7s30 P.M. Each will be requested to appear <br />every six weeks thereafter, and to prepare reports <br />over his signature for the respective department. <br />Master Gas Installer Having met the requirements, it was moved by Stone, <br />Licenses seconded by Warkentien to issue Master Gas Installer's <br />License to Raymond Dykema -Suburban Heating, Inc. <br />Motion carried. <br />Holidays Stone moved, Warkentien seconded that Washington's <br />birthday and Veteran's Day be added to present holidays <br />for village employees, making eight a year. Motion carried. <br />Investment of Funds: Treasurer Olsen gave report of funds available for <br />investment at the present time. Warkentien moved, <br />seconded by Black that the Treasurer be authorized to <br />make such investments from the Refunding Sewer Imp. 1963, <br />Watermain and San. Sewer Imp. of 1963, and Watsrmain Imp, <br />of 196x1. Investments shall have terms of up to five <br />years as determined in repayment schedules.
