230l~ WHEREAS, on June 10, 196 the Village Council, by resolution, granted the owner of said Lot 19 permission to fill said lot and use for parking purposes, and said lot has subsequently been used for such parking lot, Resolution Re- NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIZ Assessing Lot 19, of the Villa ge of Falcon Heights s Block 1, Barthel Villas Addition for 1. The assessment originally adopted October 17, Watermain Imp. of 1960 by the Village Council in the amount of X551.25 for 1960-No. 1 the Watermain Improvement of 1960 No. 1 is hereby (Continued) reassessed an d shall constitute the special assessment against Lot 19, Block 1, Barthel Villas, and said lot is found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in said amount. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 15 years the first of the ins tallments to be payable on the first Monday January, 1966 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. 'Ib the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1966. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments, 3. The over of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the village treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at any time, thereafter, pay to the county treasurer the entire amount of the assessment rem~i.ning unpaid with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. ?~. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Strandquist and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Nilsen, Stone, Black, Warkentien and Strandquist and the following voted against the same: None. Whereupon said resolution was duly declared passed and adopted this 13th day of October, 1965. Sweeping of Stone moved, seconded by Black and duly carried that Village Streets Village Engineer be authorized to arrange for sweeping of village streets.
