2312 <br />REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 10, 1965 <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the following <br />members present: Mayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Trus tees Warkentien <br />and Black. Absents Trustee Stone. Also present were Engineer Lemberg, <br />Treasurer Olsen and Attorney Galvin. <br />For the League of Women Voters, Mrs. Bobbe Nolan was present. <br />1 <br />1 <br />Minutes: Black moved, seconded by Warkentien that the minutes of <br />the regular meeting of October 27 be approved. Ayes: All. <br />Nays: None. Motion carried. <br />Correspondence <br />St. Paul Jr. Notice of seminar on selected Metropolitan Problems being <br />Chamber of presented by St. Paul Junion Chamber of Commerce on <br />Commerce: November 13, 1965 at the Lowry Hotel, St. Pauli was read. <br />League of Women The ladies of the League of Women Voters of Falcon Heights <br />Voters: expressed thanks and appreciation to the council for <br />establishing recreation program last summer. <br />Licenses <br />Christmas Tree Having met the requirements, Warkentien moved, seconded <br />Lot: by Nilsen that Mark J. Goeb1 for the University of Minnesota <br />Forestry Club be granted license to operate Christmas Tree <br />Lot on the southwest corner of Larpenteur and Cleveland <br />Avenues. Ayes. All. Nays: None. Motion carried. <br />Cigarettes: Having met the requirements, Warkentien moved, seconded <br />by Nilsen that Bonanza Sirloin Pit on the State Fair <br />Grounds be granted license to sell at retail Cigarettes, <br />Cigarette Wrappers. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Master Gas Having met the requirements, Warkentien moved, seconded by <br />Installer: Strandquist that Cecil Lenz of Northwestern Heating, <br />232 Hampden Avenue, St. Paul be granted Master Gas <br />Installer's License. Ayes: A11. Nays: None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Reservations for Request of Dale Bergstedt to reserve Village Ha11 for <br />Village Hall meeting of the Fourth District Young Republicans Board of <br />Directors an November 15 at 8:15 P.M. was granted, Also <br />Young request of Dale Bergstedt to reserve village hall for <br />Republicans: meeting of Local Young Republican Club (Falcon Heights, <br />Lauderdale and Roseville) on November 16 at 8:00 P.M, was <br />granted. <br />~ H Leaders: Request of Marion Sevcik of Ramsey County ~~ organization <br />to reserve Village Hall on the afternoons of November 15 <br />and 16 from 1:00 to 3:00 P,M. for meetings with ~~i <br />leaders was granted. <br />Tatum Street Agreement has been reached between Robert N. Beck and <br />Drainage. P.4arjorie L. Beck and Eugene J. Kemmer and Lorraine M. Kemmer <br />and the Village of Falcon Heights and license has been <br />granted.
