2330 <br />Official <br />Depository: <br />1 <br />Safe Deposit <br />Box« <br />Heights and that the Village Treasurer is au thorized to <br />deposit General Village Funds therein to the amount of <br />forty-five thousand dollars (~~.5,000.00). <br />RE50LVED FURTHER that the present collateral furnished <br />by the Falcon Heights State Bank consisting of forty <br />thousand dollars ($~l~0,000.00) face value of U. S. Government <br />obligations accompanied by an assignment providing that ixi <br />case of default on the part of the Falcon Heights State <br />Bank, the Council has full power and authority to seal <br />the collateral or so much as may be necessary to realize <br />the full amount due the municipality, is hereby approved, <br />said collateral having a market value in excess of 10% <br />over the amount of the above authorized deposit in excess <br />of the amount guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance <br />Corporation. <br />RESOLVED FURTHER that checks of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights drawn upon the said bank account shall be honored <br />by said bank only if signed by the Mayor, the Clerk and the <br />Treasurer of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota. <br />RESOLVED FURTHER that this designation shall be <br />effective until the end of the present council year. <br />The above motion was seconded by Black and upon a vote <br />being taken, the following voted in favor: Nilsen, <br />Strandquist, Warkentien, Stone and Black and the following <br />voted against same: None. Whereupon said resolution was <br />adopted by the Village Council this ]2 th day of January <br />1966. <br />Motion was made by Warkentien, seconded by Stone to <br />continue renting a safe deposit box at the Falcon Heights <br />State Bank. Motion carried. <br />Official Black moved, seconded by Stone that the Ramsey County <br />Newspapers Suburban Life Newspaper be retained as the official legal <br />newspaper of the Village of Falcon Heights. Motion carried. <br />Legal notices shall be published at X1.80 per folio for <br />straight matter, $2.x.0 per folio for tabulated matter and <br />X1.20 for subsequent insertions. <br />Posting Places: On motion by Nilsen, seconded by Black and carried, the <br />following places are hereby designated as posting places: <br />(1) Blomberg~s Store - Towa & Hamline Avenue <br />(2) Falcon Heights Pharmacy - 1707 No. Snelling Ave. <br />(3) Applebaum's Market - 1558 W. Larpenteur Avenue <br />(~.)
