1 <br />1 <br />IJ <br />2332 <br />moved, seconded by Warkentien that Engineer Lemberg be <br />authorized to draft a letter containing recommendations <br />with respect to this possible street. Motion was carried. <br />State Fair Car It was stated that on December 2l~th and also December 31st <br />Wash: Snelling Avenue traffic as well as Larpenteur Avenue traffic <br />had. been adversely affected by cars waiting in line to go <br />through the State Fair Car Wash. Members of the Council <br />deem it is in the best interests of the Village to instruct <br />police officers to keep traffic moving on Snelling and <br />Larpenteur Avenues, and automobiles shall not be allowed <br />to obstruct the free flow of traffic on streets. <br />Uniform Building Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Galvin have made study of <br />Code: Uniform National Building Code and have discussed same with <br />Building Inspector. Copies of same shall be circulated to <br />council members. <br />Violation of It appears that violation of Ordinance 20 occurs on property <br />Ordinance 20 - owned by M. E. Ahlberg of 13.0 West Idaho inasmuch as snow <br />13l~0 W. Idahos has not been removed from the sidewalk on Hamline Avenue. <br />Council instructed Police Officer to advise Mr. Ahlberg of <br />this violation. <br />Skating Rink - Warkentien moved that Mayor Nilsen be authorized to sign <br />Falcon Heights agreement between the Village of Falcon Heights and the <br />Church Property: Falcon Heights Congregational Church for use of the church <br />lot north of the parking lot for skating purposes. Motion <br />was seconded by Strandquist and carried. <br />Pumps: Engineer Lemberg advised that arrangements have been made <br />with A. P. Keller Construction Company, St. Paul and they <br />will supply pumps necessary to take care of excess water <br />from run off and thawing in the spring. <br />Bills: Strandquist moved, seconded by Warkentien that the <br />following bills be paid.
