2355 <br />General Obligation <br />Improvement Bonds <br />N.E. Area Storm <br />Scw®r Improveffient <br />Project 65-1(66 1): <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />of the Village of-Falcon Heights, Minnesota <br />1) The Mayor and Clerk are ha~reby authorized and <br />directed to enter into the contract, a copy of which is <br />on file with the Village Clerk of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights, with Harold Wedman dba Commercial Cartage Company <br />for the above described improvement according to the plena <br />and specifications approved by the Village Clerk and on <br />file in the office of the Village Clerk. <br />2) The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits <br />made with their bids, except that the deposit of the <br />successful bidder and the next lo~rest two bidders shall <br />be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Warkentien and upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofs <br />Nilsen, Black, Stone, Warkentien and Strandquist, and <br />the following voted against the lames None. Whereupon <br />said resolution was duly declared passed and adopted. <br />Robert Sander from Duran and Moody, fiscal agents, was <br />Aresent and discussion regarding bonds to finance Project <br />65-1 (66-1) was held. <br />Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoptions <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota has <br />initiated an improvement entitled Northeast Area Storm <br />S carer Improvement Project 65-1 (66-1), and <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights has accepted <br />bids and proposes tt> enter into a contract for said <br />improvement, the cost of which will be assessed in part <br />against the abutting and benefited property and paid for <br />3.n part from general revenues, and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to se31 approximately <br />X77,400 3n general obligation improvement bonds to finance <br />said improvement, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDs <br />l) That the proposal of Duran and Moody to purchase <br />approximately ~7?,000 of general obligation storm sewer <br />improvement bonds, to b® dated April 1, 1966 to be payable <br />over a period of ten (10) years, said bonds to bear interest <br />not to exceed ~..15~, be and is hereby accepted. <br />2) The Mayor and Clerk of the Village of Falcon Heights <br />are hereby authorized to accept that certain proposal of <br />Jvran and Moody dated April 4, 1966, a copy of which is on <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br />
