2,~ 7~t <br />(2) Said improvement is hereby determined to be <br />feasible and can best be made as provided and not in <br />connection with any other improvement. <br />1 <br />1 <br />Adopted by the Council this 25th day of May 1966. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Black and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Nilsen, Strandquist, <br />Black, Stone and Warkentien and the following voted against <br />the sames None. Whereupon said resolution was duly declared <br />passed and adopted. <br />Sewer Ratess Clerk was requested. to send another inquiry to Eugene Avery, <br />Chief Engineer of St. Paul Department of Public Works with <br />regard to determination of sewer rates. <br />Petition to Vacate Black introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Walkway -Holton adoptions <br />Avenue to Pascal <br />At Ruggless WHEREAS, the Village Council of Falcon Heights has <br />received petition to vacate walkway running from Holton <br />Avenue to Pascal Avenue at Ruggles Street, lying 3ust north <br />of Lots 10 and 25, Block 7, Barthel Villas and dust south <br />of Lots 9 and 26, Block 1, Barthel Villas, Village of Falcon <br />Heights, and <br />WHEREAS, said petition is hereby declared to be signed <br />by owners of property affected thereby, <br />NONE, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA that a hearing will be held <br />before the Falcon Heights Village Council at the Village <br />Hall, 1614 West Larpenteur Avenue on Wednesday, June 22, <br />1966 at 8:00 O'clock P.M. to hear all persons present upon <br />a petition of the abutting property owners for the vacation <br />of the Ruggles Walkway between Pascal and Holton Avenues. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Warkentien and upon a vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereofs Nilsen, <br />Strandquist, Black, Stone and Warkentien and the following <br />voted against the acmes None. Whereupon said resolution <br />was duly declared passed and. adopted. <br />1 <br />Engineer's Report <br />Engineer Lemberg stated-that inasmuch as Lindquist Landscaping <br />Tatum Street Company has not proceeded as yet to do the necessary work <br />Drainages in the construction of the drainage area between 1776 and <br />1768 Tatum Street, he has contacted Houle Landscaping and <br />they have agreed to do the fob in accordance with the <br />engineer's plans and specifications and stakings at a cost <br />to the village not to exceed X250.00. <br />Permanent Voter Letter of May 16, 19b6 from the League of Women Voters of <br />Registrations Falcon Heights was reviewed by the Council. Stone moved <br />that action on permanent voter registration which the <br />League requests the council to initiate, be tabled. Ayess <br />All. Nayss None. Motion was carried. <br />
