2381 <br />Water on Hamline suggested manner of obtaining water by angering under <br />Avenue - Mrs, the street to the Roseville water main on the other <br />Evelyn Dilger side. Her well water has now become contaminated, she <br />1811 No. Hamlines believes, and she is in need of water and much prefers <br />dealing with the village in which she resides. <br />After discussion, Strandquist introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption. <br />Resolution Ordering WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve that portion of <br />Preparation of the Village of Falcon Heights described as follows: <br />Report on Improve- <br />ment on Hamline Commencing at the intersection of Albert and Garden <br />Avenue by installa- Avenues, thence Easterly approximately 150 feet to the <br />tion of Water Easterly line of the Falcon Heights School (School <br />Line: District 623) thence Northerly along said east <br />property line of said. school to Ruggles Avenue, <br />thence Westerly to the intersection of Ruggles <br />Avenue and Albert Avenue <br />by the construction of a municipal water line and to <br />assess the benefitted property, whether abutting or not, <br />for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section l~20.011 to 429.111 <br />(Laws of 1953 as amended). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF Falcon Heights, Minnesota: <br />That the proposed improvement be referred to <br />Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates for study <br />and that they are instructed to report to the council <br />with all convenient speed, advising the council in the <br />preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is <br />feasible and as to whether it should best be made as <br />provided or in connection with some other improvement, <br />and the estimated cost of the improvement. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Stone and upon a vote being taken <br />thereon, the follcn~ring voted in favor thereof: Nilsen, <br />Strandquist, Black, Stone and Warkentien, and the <br />following voted against the same: None. Whereupon said <br />resolution was duly declared passed and adopted, by the <br />council this 8th day of June, 1966. <br />Equipment on Squad A. W. Bohn, Jr., owner of Emergency Vehicle Supply Company <br />Car - Agreement with submitted to the Council a five-year lease agreement dated <br />Emergency Vehicle June 2, 1966. Agreement provides in part that said company <br />Supply Companyz will furnish and install the following equipment on the <br />squad car: 1 Federal Model Q2B siren, 1 Federal visibar, <br />1 EVS Switchbox, and 1 #90 Amber Rear Light. Strandquist <br />moved, seconded by Warkentien that Clerk be authorized to <br />sign said agreement. Ayers All. Nays: None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Technical Committee Attorney Calvin's letter of June 7 addressed to Eugene <br />of St. Paul - Sewer Avery, St. Paul City Engineer was read.
