Whereupon said resolution <br />was declared passed and adopted. <br />Eugene Avery- Letter from Eugene Avery, Chief Engineer, City of <br />St. Paul City St. Paul was in answer to Attorney Calvin's letter <br />Engineer-Sanitary of June 7 regarding sewer charges, It stated, in part, <br />Sewer Charges: that every effort will be made to accomplish drafting <br />of communication to affected suburbs before July 1st <br />in accordance with position set forth in C.alvin~s <br />letter. <br />Proposal of N.S.P. Black introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Company-Street adoption: <br />Lighting Contract: <br />RESOLVID that the Village Council of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota, hereby accepts <br />the proposal of the Northern States Power Company, a <br />Minnesota corporation, to furnish street lighting service <br />with all lights located or to be located in said village, <br />and hereby approves all rates, terms, conditions, and <br />specifications in the Street Lighting Contract made a <br />part of the proposal of said company, and the proper <br />officers of the Village are hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute the aforesaid contract for and in the name <br />of the Village, and to affix the corporate seal thereto. <br />Adopted by the Council June 22, 1966. <br />1 <br />1 <br />Black seconded the motion and upon a vote being taken, <br />the resolution was adopted. <br />Falcon Woods Peter McGough of the Falcon Woods Recreation Association <br />Requests Walkway was present to request that council consider its request <br />to Recreation Areas to place a walk way on Roselawn Avenue for the use of <br />pedestrians on their way to the recreation area. This <br />was referred to Attorney for study. <br />Northome Shopping After discussion, Black moved, 5trandquist seconded that <br />Areas the Village Attorney be authorized to direct communication <br />to the owners of the property known as Northome Shopping <br />Area located on the southeast corner of Larpenteur and <br />Snelling, pointing out that there is an apparent continu- <br />ing violation of Village Ordinances as far as zoning <br />purposes and parking matters are concerned. This viola- <br />tion occurs at the rear of the buildings. Communication <br />shall request owners to appear at the next council meet- <br />ing in reference thereto. Upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted in favor of same: All and. the followring <br />voted against the sames None, whereupon the motion was <br />declared passed and adopted. <br />Bilk s Black moved, seconded by Stone and carried that the <br />following bills be paids <br />Walter S.
