Eugene Avery- Letter from Eugene Avery, Chief Engineer, City of St. Paul City St. Paul was in answer to Attorney Calvin's letter Engineer-Sanitary of June 7 regarding sewer charges, It stated, in part, Sewer Charges: that every effort will be made to accomplish drafting of communication to affected suburbs before July 1st in accordance with position set forth in C.alvin~s letter. Proposal of N.S.P. Black introduced the following resolution and moved its Company-Street adoption: Lighting Contract: RESOLVID that the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota, hereby accepts the proposal of the Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, to furnish street lighting service with all lights located or to be located in said village, and hereby approves all rates, terms, conditions, and specifications in the Street Lighting Contract made a part of the proposal of said company, and the proper officers of the Village are hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid contract for and in the name of the Village, and to affix the corporate seal thereto. Falcon Woods Peter McGough of the Falcon Woods Recreation Association Requests Walkway was present to request that council consider its request to Recreation Areas to place a walk way on Roselawn Avenue for the use of pedestrians on their way to the recreation area. This was referred to Attorney for study. Northome Shopping After discussion, Black moved, 5trandquist seconded that Areas the Village Attorney be authorized to direct communication to the owners of the property known as Northome Shopping Area located on the southeast corner of Larpenteur and Snelling, pointing out that there is an apparent continu- ing violation of Village Ordinances as far as zoning purposes and parking matters are concerned. This viola- tion occurs at the rear of the buildings. Communication shall request owners to appear at the next council meet- ing in reference thereto.
