2387 <br />gave the cost estimate on extending water and <br />detailed breakdown as requested at the Council <br />meeting on June 8. Said estimate was for extension <br />between Garden and Ruggles utilizing a route along <br />the east property line of the school. It stated <br />the average front foot assessment for this area <br />would be approximately X7.9.22 which is about X670 <br />more than hooking onto Roseville water as Was pre- <br />viously suggested. After discussion about various <br />ways and means to obtain water (at least temporarily) <br />for the house at 1811 Hemline, it was agreed that <br />Black, 'J~arkentien and Strandquist would meet with Mr. <br />Peahen on Monday to discuss a connection from his well <br />at 1807 Hemline Avenue. <br />Donald Arndt, Police Police Commissioner Donald Arndt was present and made <br />Commissioners- a regular report of police department activities. <br />Art Lindig - Black introduced .the following resolution and moved <br />Proposed Platting of its adoption: <br />Lindig Addtion- <br />Subdivisions WHEREAS, Arthur Lindig is the owner of certain <br />real estate located in the Village of Falcon Heights <br />and <br />WHEREAS, said owner has submitted to the Village <br />Council plans and data pursuant to Ordinance No. 69 <br />of the Village of Falcon Heights for a proposed plan <br />for the proposed division of an existing lot by <br />metes and bounds description of that real estate, <br />and <br />1NHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights and the Village Engineers have re- <br />viewed the plans and data as submitted and conclude <br />that said plans and data meet the objectives of <br />the ordinances and regulations of the Village and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary that said plans and <br />data, be referred to the Planning Commission of the <br />Village of Falcon Heights for their study, consid- <br />eration and recommendations, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE <br />COUNCIL OF Falcon Heights that: <br />1. The proposed plans and data for said proposed <br />division of an existing lot by metes and bounds des- <br />cription is hera~by given preliminary approval by the <br />Village Council, and <br />2. Said proposed plans and data for said proposed <br />division of an existing lot are hereby referred to <br />the Village Planning Commission for its study, re- <br />view and recommendations to the Village Council as <br />soon: as practical. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />The motion was duly seconded by Strandquist and upon <br />a vote being taken, the following was recorded: <br />
