21.1, <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br />owner is requested to submit in writing a proposal <br />suggesting solution of the problem. Motion was <br />seconded by Warkentien. Ayes: Warkentien, Black, <br />Stone. Strandquist abstained. Motion was carried. <br />Mr, ~dermes was advised that the Village Engineer <br />is available for consultation regarding remedy to <br />this problem of traffic control and adequate serv- <br />icing of the cars. The one way lane and the allowable <br />parking space south of the gas pumps was discussed <br />and Hermes was advised that when this lane was <br />originally put in, stipulation was made that it was <br />not to be used for going into the car wash. <br />Hermes Business Discussion about parking in the driveway or alley be- <br />Properties- hind the Hermes business block of buildings was dis- <br />Alley Parkings cussed. He read letter <br />addressed to Council written by Parker Anderson, 1513 <br />West Hoyt Avenue, who also is opposed to curb and <br />gutters until such time as sidewalks are installed. <br />Stone introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoptions <br />Resolution Ordering WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the North side <br />Preparation of of Hoyt Avenue between Hamline Avenue and Snelling <br />Report on Improvement Drive by the construction of sidewalks and to assess <br />of the North Side of the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />Hoyt Avenue by con- cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minn.
