275 <br />REGULAR FJ~ETING OF NOVEitIBER 23, 1966 <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.??. with the following members <br />present: ry~ayor Harold Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Councilmen Warkentien, Stone <br />and Black. Also present were Treasurer Olsen, Attorney Kyle and Engineer Lemberg <br />P4rs. r~erriam represented the League of women Voters. <br />rJii.nutes: Nilsen moved, seconded by Strandquist that the minutes of <br />the regular meeting of October 26, 1966 be approved.. Ayes: <br />All, Nays: None. `Tdotion was carried. <br />Plumber authorized Having met the requirements, it was moved by Strandquist, <br />to obtain permits: seconded by Nilsen that Berghorst Plumbing and Heating Co. <br />be authorized to obtain permits to do plumbing work in the <br />Village of Falcon Heights. Ayes: All. Nays: None. <br />P~gotion was carried. <br />Christmas Tree Having met the requirements, it was moved by Ni]s en, <br />Lot License: seconded by Black that Hermes Floral Company be granted <br />license to operate a Christmas Tree Lot on the premises at <br />2100 West Larpenteur Avenue. Ayes: All. Nays: None. <br />Motion was carried. <br />Sewer Rental Strandquist moved, seconded by Stone that due to the death <br />l6l~5 Garden Avenue: of Dr. 0. J. ~~all zf~rho resided at 16t~5 Garden Avenue, Sewer <br /> Rental No. 371, that penalties that have accrued in the <br /> amount of X3.00 be written off the books. Ayes: All. <br /> Nays: None. I=Sotion was carried. <br />Ramsey County Cha?.rman of the School House Committee of the Ramsey County <br />Historical Society Historical Society, Frank Paskewitz, was present, His <br />Brick Chimney: letter of November 23, 1966 was reviewed.. The Society is <br /> requesting permission to reconstitu'6e the chimney in the <br /> school house as it now stands to maintain the architectural <br /> construction of chimney in the manner more natural7.y fitting <br /> into the vintage of a school house of its day. The present <br /> village code requires that brick chimney go clear to the <br /> floor, but said chimney as proposed will not. Black moved, <br /> Stone seconded that the Ramsey County Historical Society <br /> owners of the school house at 209? l~~test Larpenteur Avenue <br /> be authorized to construct a chimney as indicated in above- <br /> mentioned letter. Chimney shall be subject to the inspection <br /> and approval of the Village Engineer, with the understanding <br /> that if reconstitution of the chimney is not satisfactory, <br /> then the Society will remove it and start from scratch. <br /> Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion was carried. <br />Klatt Development: Black introduced the folloiving resolution and moved its <br /> adoption: <br />Subdivisions: <br />Public Hearings ~?HEH,EAS, Roy P. Klatt, Administrator of the Estate <br />Scheduled: of Conrad R. K1att, Deceased, has made application pursuant <br />to the provisions of Ordinance No. 69 to the Village <br /> Council for subdivision of the property described in the <br /> follo~ring paragraph: <br />
