(2) Ex E 100 ft; the S 76.5 ft of N 1].9.5 ft of part, E of extended E line of Klatts Add, of N 1/2 of W 16 acres of E 2!~ acres of NE 1/!t of SW 1/!~ of Sec. 15, T 29, R 23 in the amount of ~188.i~4. The foregoing resolution was seconded by Stone and upon a vote, the following voted for sames Nilsen, Stran dquist, Black, Warkentien and Stone and the following voted against same: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared adopted. Request for Village Moved by Warkentien, seconded by Black that request of Hall - District District tt9B Young Republicans be granted for meeting on 49B Young March 13, 1967 at 8:00 P.M. in the Falcon Heights Village Republicans: Hall. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion was carried. Resolution Stone introduced the following resolution and moved its Receiving Prelim- adoptions inary Report for Improvements to WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it necessary and Arona Street expedient that the Village of Falcon Heights construct between grading, base, bituminous surfacing, curb and gutter and Larpenteur and related appurtenances on Arona Avenue between Larpenteur California: and California Avenues, and WHEREAS, the Council has requested a preliminary report of Bonestroo, Rosene and Anderlik, Village Consulting Engineers, and has been advised by said engineers that the proposed improvements are feasible and should best be made as proposed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota: 1. Said preliminary report is hereby received and ordered placed on file with the Village Clerk. 2. The Council shall determine, at a later date, the time and place for the holding of a public hearing on said proposed improvements. Motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Warkentien and ubon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofs Nilsen, Strandquist Stone, Warkentien and B]~~a ck and the following voted against the same: None. Whereupon said resolution was duly declared passed and adopted. Lemberg stated that estimated cost of project is $18,018 and from that Minnesota State Aid Funds would be applied in amount of X16,818 and $1,200 would be assessed.
