2526 <br />Notice is hereby given that the Village Council <br />of Falcon Heights will meet in the Council Chambers <br />of the Village Ha11 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, <br />1967 to consider the making of the follow~.n~; improve- <br />ments: <br />1. Construction of proposed Sheldon Street, located <br />between Roselawn Avenue and Ruggles Street and. <br />between Albert Avenue and Hamline Avenue, and more <br />particularly described in the proposed Kla tt <br />Addition rdo. 2, a copy of which is on file with the <br />Village Clerk, consisting of grading, base bituminous <br />surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, and sanitary <br />sewer. <br />The estimated cost of said improvements is 5~19,3a5.l~5• <br />The area proposed to be assessed for said improve- <br />ments is every lot or parcel of land benefitting <br />therefrom and abutting on said proposed Sheldon Street. <br />2. Construction of watermains along said proposed Sheldon <br />Street in proposed I~att's Addition No. 2 and along <br />the westerly edge of Hamline Avenue between Garden <br />Avenue and Roselawn Avenue, together with all necessary <br />connections and appurtenances to the existing water <br />system in the Village. <br />- The estimated cost of said improvements is $~19,91l~.J~O. <br />The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements <br />is every lot or parcel of land benefitting therefrom <br />and abutting along said proposed Sheldon Street and <br />the westerly edge of Hamline Avenue between Roselawn <br />Avenue and Garden Avenue, <br />The Council proposed to proceed under Chapter l~29 <br />M.S.A. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference <br />to-,the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting. <br />!~. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause notice of said hearings to be given <br />two publications in the official newspaper. Said <br />publications shall be one week apart, and at least three <br />days shall elapse betvreen the last publication and the <br />hearing. Not less than ten days before the hearing the <br />Glerk shall: mail notice of the hearing to the owner of <br />each parcel of land within the area to be assessed. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Warkentien and upon a vote .being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Nilsen, <br />Strandquist, ~~arkentien, Stone and Black, and tie follrnaring <br />vo-~„ed against sames Nome.
