Legal Newspaper The following Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote on motion by Warkentien, seconded by Shavor: RESOLVED, That the Rose Tribune, a legal newspaper. of general circulation in the Village of Falcon Heights be and it hereby is desig- nated as the official newspaper of the Village of Falcon Heights, in which shall be published such ordinances and other matters as are re- quired by law to be so published, and such other matters as the council may deem it ad- visable and in the public interest to have published in this manner for the year 1958._ Depositories The following Resolution was moved by Shavor, seconded by Nilsen and adopted unanimously: Falcon Heights State RESOLVED, That the Falcon Heights State Bank. Bank-General Account of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, be and hereby is designated as a depository for the funds of the Village of Falcon Heights, and that .the Village Treasurer is authorized to deposit General Village funds therein to the amount of forty- five thousand dollars ($45,000.00). RESOLVED FURTHER, That the present collateral furnished by the Falcon Heights State Bank consisting of forty thousand dollars (40,000.00) face value of U. S. Government obligations ac- companied by an assignment providing that in case of default on the part of Falcon Heights State Bank, the council has full power and authority to sell the collateral or so much as may be necessary to realize-the full amount due the municipality, is hereby approved, said col- lateral having a market value in excess of 106 over the amount of the above authorized deposit in excess of the amount guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. RESOLVED FURTHER, That checks of the Village of Falcon Heights drawn upon the said bank ac- count shall be honored by said bank only if signed by the Mayor, the Clerk and the Treasurer of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota.
