~',~? SPECIAL MiEE;TING THURSDAY, MARCH 6, contd. <br />FLAME~3URGER Mr. dalter Hermes was advised 36/58, at approximately 9:30 <br />P. Psi., to hold up connection of the sewer at the Flameburger <br />until owners could. obtain permission by petitioning the City <br />Council of the City of St. Paul. It was moved by Nilsen <br />and seconded by ~'~arkentien that the Deputy Clerk advise the <br />Falcon Development Corporation of this situation. ?+,?otion <br />unanimously carried. <br />NITS The Mayor reported that he had an inquiry regarding the <br />CLUB possibility of opening up sort of a Night Club in ?he <br /> Village of Falcon Heights where set-ups would be served. <br /> The Mayor stated that he advised the inquirer that this <br /> type of business would not be desirable; and the Council, <br /> as a whole, unanimously disapproves of such a venture in <br /> Falcon Heights. <br />VILLAGE Nilsen moved that the procedure as recommended.. by Volunteer <br />WORK Fire Chief Grumke and the Department Officers for the handling <br />ORDERS: of Village Services as outlined in Chief Grumke's letter of <br /> I~4arch 3rd to the Mayor be approved, and in answer to his <br /> question, the Chief will be responsible for the time and pay- <br /> roll reports to the Office of the Clerk. Seconded by Shavor <br /> and unanimously carried. <br />LAWSUITS Attorney .Graham reported on the progress and status of the <br /> Northern States and Hanson law suits. <br />CHAIRS. It was moved by Warkentien that we buy 10 Royal Chairs at <br />X43.00 each, as quoted. r,~y the Farnham Stationery & School <br /> Supply Co. Seconded by Coppini and unanimously carried. <br />REQUISI- <br />TIONS. Nilsen moved that requisition #140 for the Fire tepartment <br /> be approved.
