Motion unanimously carried. <br />It was moved by Warkentien, and seconded by Nilsen <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the alley between California <br />and Idaho running from the eat line of Arona to the West line of <br />Fascal by grading and bituminous stabilization according to <br />Village Standards and to assess the benefitted property for all or <br />a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minn. Stats. <br />429.011 to 429.111, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF T~'E VILLAGE OF FALCON <br />HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA, that the proposed improvement be referred to <br />Vern L. Ljungren, Village Engineer, for study, with the request <br />that he report to the Council advising the Council in a preliminary <br />way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible, as to <br />whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with <br />some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as <br />recommended. <br />Motion unanimously carried. Ayes recorded: Nilsen, Shavor, Warken- <br />tien, Coppini, Utecht. <br />TATUM Ljungren reported that he had checked the Schifsky bid and that it was <br />STREET in order. It was exactly $10.00 less than he had estimated. <br />BID <br />TATUM ST. Ljungren pointed out that additional piping on Tatum Street would call <br />DRAINAGE for the expenditure of an additional $6375.00 or so. At this point <br />Graham and Ljungren left the meeting to consult with Mr. hemmer and <br />others regarding easements. <br />~V Rr~ <br />BID It was moved by Utecht, seconded by Nilsen and unanimously voted that <br />TATUM ST. the bid received from T. A. Shifsky & Sons, Inc., for the improvement <br />Il~4PROVE- of Tatum Street from Larpenteur Avenue to Roselawn Avenue be referred <br />i~IENT to Engineer Ljungren for further checking and report at the next meeting. <br />GAGE It was moved by Utecht and seconded by Warkentien that preliminary <br />PROPOSED approval be given the proposed plat of Falcon Woods Addition #2, <br />DEVELOP- subject to the Village Engineer's written 0. K., for presentation <br />MENT to the County Plat Commission. Motion unanimously carried. <br />POLICING It was moved by Nilsen, seconded by Coppini, that Warkentien be <br />appointed as the Falcon Heights representative on the Ramsey County <br />Municipal Officials Association committee for Rural Ramsey Policing. <br />Motion unanimously carried. <br />RECESS 9:30 Meeting was recessed awaiting the return of Graham & Ljungren. <br />RECONVENE Meeting reconvened at 10:15 P. I~4, and Attorney Graham discussed <br />easements in general. <br />ADJOURN- On motion, the meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.
