1098 <br />Thatcher Building Inspector Christensen submitted plans for the Thatcher <br />Chiroprac- Chiropractic Clinic. After discussion, it was moved by Ltecht, <br />tic Clinic seconded by Warkentien and. unanimously voted that the plans for the <br />Thatcher Chiropractic Clinic, 13l~7 W. Larpenteur, be approved <br />with the change over of the north driveway and. curbing as determined ',, <br />by the Building Inspector and that the building permit be granted. <br />Sign After discussion, it was moved by kVarkentien, seconded by Shavor <br />Falcon and unanimously voted to approve the plans for the replacement of <br />Cleaners the Lt' x 33' sign to be insta.;led flat against the building by <br />the Huber Sign Company. <br />Snow Plow- Letter of October 21st from Harry 3ronson, Ramsey County Engineer, <br />ing and Sand- was read. After discussion, it was recommended that Engineer <br />ing. Ljungren contact E3ronson asking that the County plow snow and <br />sand for ice control as needed. <br />of curbing <br />Hermes N. L. Hermes advised he agreed to the installation"on Larpenteur <br />Driveway with the understanding that a driveway would be left for him at <br />the alley. He further advised a driveway was left for Standard <br />Oil and 1 for Lido, but none for him; and that it was very <br />difficult for trucks to get through to the business buildings <br />without it due to the parking situation. It was suggested that <br />Engineer Ljun~ren contact the Engineer's Office for an inter- <br />pretation of the curbing and driveway specifications off State <br />Highways and. advise N. L. Hermes. <br />Streets Letter of October 13th from Arnold Steffes of Toltz, King, <br />Duvall, Anderson and Associates was read. It advised: Total <br />footage of streets resurfaced was 53,000 feet. Cost of oil <br />stabilizing the 3?" of granular base material was $8lt,676.31 <br />which equals ~G1.60 per front foot. The cost of placing the <br />gravel on the streets, the gravel being taken from the sewer <br />excavation or hauled in from an approved pit, was 1b1.20 per <br />cubic yard; and placing the gravel over the 32' street to a <br />depth of 12" was 8!t¢ afoot. Total cost for oil stabilization <br />of the 12" of gravel equals ~2.l~2 per front foot. Engineering <br />and Inspection costs were approximately 6~, which would add 15¢ <br />to the cost. The total cost then wouIld be X2.57 per front foot. <br />Steffes letter to Jaw W. Craig Company, dated October 22nd, re- <br />garding final certificate was read and filed. <br />Steffes letter of October 22nd to Peter Lametti Company regarding <br />credit memorandum was read and filed. <br />Fire Dept. Letter of September 26th from Hy Hammers ten, Clerk, Roseville, <br />Mutual Aid was read.
